2. What is keeping up with the Kardashians   ? Keeping Up with the Kardashians (often abbreviated KUWTK) is an American reality television series that airs on the E! cable network. The show focuses on the personal and professional lives of the Kardashian–Jenner blended family. Its premise originated with Ryan Seacrest, who also serves as an executive producer.

3. Who is in KUWTK? The series focuses mainly on sisters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe and their half-sisters Kendall and Kylie. It also features their parents Kris and Caitlyn, and brother Rob. The significant others of the Kardashian sisters have also appeared on the show, including Kourtney's ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, Kim's ex-husband Kris Humphries, and current husband Kanye West, Khloé's ex-husband Lamar Odom, ex-boyfriend French Montana, and ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson along with Rob's ex-girlfriend  Adrienne Bailon  and ex-fiancé Blac Chyna. Caitlyn's son Brody Jenner made a cameo in season 1, before appearing regularly between the 8th and 11th seasons, along with brother Brandon and Brandon's ex-wife Leah. Kim's friend Jonathan Cheban, the sisters’ maternal grandmother Mary-Jo “MJ”, and Khloé's friend Malika Haqq have also been part of the show. And many other celebrities appear in and out.

5. Season 1-9 Intro This intro for season 1-9 is short and sweet. The edit of the non-diegetic music over the intro creates a catchy tone that’s gets stuck in peoples head which in itself could be self-advertisement. Each person is introduced with a tiny interview type situation with their name that has a flip transition next to the person with a purple and white border, and well as each person saying of a diegetic  a line which gives the audience a hindsight to what their characteristics are, giving the taster of what is to come within the show. When a new tv reality star is introduced, there is the edit of a flash which gives the introduction to them that more power. The props that are used in this introduction is a powerful fan which dramatics the introduction especially for Khloe Kardashian. Also, a rope is used in the last few seconds which when tugged the background of the California skyline introduces the main location of where keeping up with the Kardashians is shot, their home. Also, during the intro, a make-up artists touches up Kendall which leaves the impression of money and high maintenance, which could leave a smile on the audiences faces  when watching this. At the very end of the KUWTK intro once the catchy music has faded one of the producer shouts out money right before the episode starts which just creates a sense wealth and achievement that surrounds the family and this reality tv show, which is indeed the case as this show was one meant to air for one season, but time went one the fame for the family grew as well as the success for the tv show did too making the reality tv show air for 14 years with 20 seasons. Each person is wearing a different outfit, for example Khloe is wearing a gold short sequin dress with curled hair, which matches kylie the youngest out of the kardsash-jenner clan is also wearing a gold sequin top with a leopard skirt, which then leads to Kendall Jenner wearing a gold sequin top with a leopard skirt, which then leads to Kendall Jenner the second younger who is wearing a leopard dress. The two youngest are Kendall and kylie Jenner the children of Bruce and kris Jenner, and are half siblings with Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and rob Kardashian children of the late Rob Kardashian and Kris Jenner. Once the prop of the background sheet is dropped the title 'keeping up with the Kardashian is edited in the intro with the pop-up of 'keeping up with' then the 'the Kardashians' is put in place with a flip transition in the bright purple that is seen throughout the interviews for each person. This leads to the fade to black which then fades into the starts of each episode. This is the exact same intro throughout the tv reality show all the way up un till season 9.

6. Season 10 intro- 10th year anniversary special Season 10 of keeping up with the Kardashian is the 10th year special, leaving them to create a one year's special of a new introduction. This intro starts with the edit of the bird's eye view of the homes in Calabasas which is located in California, with the editing of white bold writing over it with the non-diegetic music over it by Aloe Blacc- king is born. This song is loud and popular as it was originally a song for WWE  which connotates the Kardashian family as they are a loud and well-known family throughout the whole world. Also, there is a noise of a non-diegetic helicopter which later on we find out Kris Jenner is in the helicopter and realise the bird eye view is actually a point of view shot from Kris Jenner. Each Kardashian/ Jenner member each has their own introduction that gives us the taste of their personality, for example Khloe Kardashians intro is a mid- angle shot of her working out, which then turns to an over the shoulder shot in the mirror of her looking at the progress she has made. Each Kardashian/Jenner has two costumes, one for their brief introduction and then of them all together at the end. Between each intro there is a montage snip-it's of the whole family from the previous season, this shows the audience on how far they have come and grown along with the fame that is attached to their name. Each tv star has a different location to introduce them for example Kourtney Kardashian lays down by the pool which is located in Beverly hills. Also, for Kendall Jenner her intro is a load of paparazzi waiting for her to walk the runway which is her profession, however they added a special guess in the promo, Kirby Jenner, who is just a boy who gained fame for looking like Kendall Jenners twin. Towards the end of the Kardashian intro, they all meet up from being introduced to an all very familiar  backdrop of the California skyline. The end of this season intro they recreated they original intro but years later creating an iconic scene, this left everyone socked that they went back to their old family home in Calabasas. For them to recreate that scene they tugged  at a hanging rope and let the skyline drop to revel the house while all the family members are in their glitzy dresses which could represent the money that they have gained throughout the years. However, we notice that  Bruce Jenner and Rob Kardashian no longer made an appearance like last time but in the season leading up to this intro the family dynamics had changed. Also they have the diegetic sound of them talking about how Kim is always late which is once again a taster of how they are, leaving such a compelling and action packed intro to seduce the audience to wanting to watch the whole season.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

7. Season 11- 13 intro This quick and quirky introduction has a flash introduction for each tv star. The quirky introduction has the edit of rectangular slices of their faces fading from one edge to the other, it goes super quick to introduce the girls but as the years have gone on, we know who is who so no long introduction is needed. The black background makes them vivid to the audience  as their skin tone pops against it. Once again, the producers of the tv reality shows chooses another  non-diegetic catchy theme tune for the new introduction. Once that brief introduction is over there is a bright flash thast laeds to the white background and the 'keeping up with the Kardashian' logo is in black which is put on top of a white background leaving a bold title, kind of matching their personalities. Next to the title is the Kardashian/Jenner women who separately seen staring from their side profile to their front profile to then change to the next sibling. This edit of the transitions gives the audience the full look of each family member from head to toe, showing of each bakground. Each TV star has a different outfit one for example Kendall is wear a grey dress that is revealing with a fringe bottom, but Khloe is wearing a bold red jumpsuit giving the unique look to each member.once the second part is over kylie( the last person to spin) fades away letting the KUWTK logo slide to the middle of the screen then turns dark which then would fade into the start of the episode.    

8. 14-16 season intro This intro for KUWTK is short and meaningful, the non-diegetic music over it is also very soft and calm which really matches the introduction. The edit of the warm tones over the montage of Kardashian/Jenner memories throughout their years and successes. The edit of the dusty grain over the whole video gives the intro and feeling of warmth for the audience. Also, them including the memories of their childhood from their home videos shows their happiness of their family. Most of the videos and footage that has been shot for this introduction is located in California, Calabasas the hometown to the famous family, or they have used film footage from the previous season like family trip to Cleveland. The transitions of each memory going into another creates an interest of the trailer, the ripple effect to the fade in and out. The end of the trailer we see the title of keeping up with the Kardashian with a warm white on top of a balck background with the exact same dark warm grainy tone that has been seen all throughout. However, during the video we get bits of the video which make I look like an oof video with the lines and white blots that has been seen.  

9. Season 17-18 Season 19 Season 20 All these season have the exact same introduction as the season 14-16 however the memories for those 3 differed for those 3 different intros are different memories. So, all the camera, all the editing is the exact same apart from what flash back they decided to edit in. Also, the famous catchy tune we first heard in season 14 intro The Keeping Up with the Kardashians  theme song was created by American pop group, Francis and the Lights. They originated in Oakland, California and self-released their first album ‘Striking’ in 2007.
