►We worked with More than Words
Interpreting out of Milwaukee to ensure the
videos were accessible to individuals who are
deaf/hard of hearing
►They took the videos from Peer Canvas and
provided interpreting, so the speech was
made accessible via sign language 
►We also had More than Words Interpreting
add closed captioning to the videos so even
more people would gain access.

15. What We Learned
►Navigational Aids for the Visually Impaired
(NAVI) accessibility tool
►Non-profit museums and how they
operate
►Docents and just how vast their
knowledge base is
►Some of us learned about Microsoft
Teams
►The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
and got training on how to make sure an
organization like Rock County Historical
Society stays compliant with the
regulations
►Gained knowledge regarding fundraising

►We had many ups and downs but worked
hard to consistently keep a positive
attitude and mindset towards each
other and our project. We all had the
same goal. But what amazing
accomplishments don't have struggles
►During this project we learned to rely on
each other's strengths because we all
have different strengths and weaknesses
►Leaders and take charge when things go
wrong instead of pointing the finger.
►Our community needs us more than we
think so, we must set aside our
differences and do what's right in the
moment.
