Renaissance Theater play An Elizabethan Theater bulding was round or octagonal in shape and had no evining performance because theater lighting was not inverted yet.Early Renaissance stage was an open area as large as 13 square meters.The rear half was rooted over,with several doors located in the back wall. Over these doors was a gallery reserved for several members of the audience, or may also act as part of the acting area. On the open space above the stage was usually a trapdoor and a windlass was used to lower actors or chariots that are supposed to come down from heaven.

The first permanent theater building was called THE THEATRE. It was built in London in 1576 and unhered English Ranaissance drama. Before this time, plays were acted in public halls and large house, in inns and public squares, and courtyard or other open spaces by troops of actors that mostly travelled araund the countryside between cities and town .

Having a permanent place ti act enable actors to develop their art without the constant need to travel. The theatre was followed by other theaters like THE COURTAIN, The ROSE, The Swan, The Globe, and others. More plays were also written by more playwrights to fill these theaters

WILLIAM SHAKSPEARE Was the famous Dramatist of the Renaissance.he was proficient at writing tragedies,comedies . Or chronicle plays.

His great achievements include the perfection of a verse form and language that capture the spirit of ordinary speech and yet stands above to give special dignity to his characters and situations, an unrivaled subtlety of characterization, and a marvelous ability to unify plot, character, imagery, and verse movement.

There were no women actors in SHAKESPEARE’S time and boys usually played the women parts.The actors played mainly wearing ordinary clothes and used a few props to accent their parts-crowns, sword, and so on There was also no scenery, and it was the player’s task to inform the audience where they were supposed to be during this time, pepole came to the theater to listen and use their imagenation,rather that to wach .

ROMANTIC THEATER PLAY Melodrama and operas are popular theatrical forms. MELODRAMA describe a play or film in which the plot is often sensational and the chacters display exaggerated emotions. OPERA is an art form wherein singer and musician perform a dramatic work combining text( librettp )and musical score, in a theatrical setting

GEORGE BIZET (1838-1875) BIZET is a famous freach compuser known for his operas.His most famous opera is CARMEN and is the most freaquently performed. CARMEN is based on a novella of the same title in 1846 by the french writer,Prosper Merimee. It is written in the genre of opera comique with musical numbers seperated by dialogue.Its music is acclaimed for its music is acclaimed for its brilliant melody,harmony atmosphare , orchestration, and also for the skills for which the composer repdenten the different emotions and sufferingc of his chacters .
