ABRESETE–thefemaledancerisattherightsideofthemaledancer.
Andthemaledancerisholdingthelefthandthefemaledancerwithhis
righthand.
ARMSINLATERALPOSITION–Botharmsareatoneside,either
sidewardrightorleft.Thismaybedoneatshoulder,chestorwaistlevel.
ARMSINREVERSET–Armsarebentandplacedupwardandthe
palmsofthehandfacinginward(nearatthesideofthehead).
BILAO–Toturnpalmsofhandsupanddown.Itisdonealternately
whilehandsatwaistlevelinfrontandelbowsareclosetowaist.
CABECCERAS –Whenthedancersareoccupyingthewidthofthe
dancefloor(onlyinsquaredanceformation).Partnersinthispositionare
called“HeadCouplesorCabecceras”.

COSTADOS -Whenthedancersareoccupyingthelengthfthedancefloor(onlyin
squaredanceformation).Partnersinthispositionarecalled“SidePairsorCostados”.
HAYON–HAYON–Placeoneforearminfrontwhiletheotherarmisplacedonthe
backofthewaist.Itisdonealternately(rightandleft).
KUMINTANG –movethehandwristinrotationit’seitherclockwiseor
counterclockwisedirection.
SALUDO–Partnersbowtoeachother,totheaudienceortotheoppositedancers.
SALOK–Swingyouronearmdownwardasifyouarescoopingsomethingandmove
itupwardoverthehead.
SAROK–CrosstheRightfootinfrontoftheLeft,bendyourbodyslightlyforwardand
crossyourhands(Rightoverleft).
SET–adanceformationlikesquareformation,circleformation,etc.
STAMP-tobringdownthefootwithaforceandnoiseonthefloor.
STARWITHRIGHTHAND–Four(4)ormoredancersjoiningRighthandsatthe
centerandcirclearoundclockwiseusingwalkingoranykindoffootsteps.
STARWITHLEFTHAND–Samewith“StarwithRightHand”butjoiningLefthands
andturningcounterclockwiseusingwalkingoranykindoffootsteps.
