Amaala Light pollution campaign AAJV- ZONE 4 SITE INSPECTION REPORT 04.01.2024

Objective AAJV Env. Team conducted inspections at work areas of Zone 4 A,B & C on 04.01.2024 to determine the level of compliance of onsite artificial lighting against RSG guidelines & Dark Sky Initiative targets. Purpose To identify whether any artificial light that has been placed excessive or obtrusive at site, which shines where it is neither wanted nor needed. Methodology The inspection took note of following aspects: * Number of construction lights (Tower light, Crane, Standing & Task lights) * Number of construction lights in an “ON” configuration * Angle of lights (up, horizontal, down) * Direction of light (towards the coast or inland)
