The logo for Vesi

The steps of what I have done: 1. Opening Mircrosoft Edge 2. Searching up a logo designer website like Looka

3. On the website entering the company name Vesi 4. Adding a few key words for what type of industry Vesi will be for

5. Picking out logos which I liked 6. Picking out colour that I thought that woud go well with for the logo

7. Adding a slogan 8. Picking some symbol types

All of the generated logos from the website Looka Logos that I will be interested in will be circled

Logo idea 1: <- how it looked to start with <- after I altered it I originally chose this generated logo to work on as an idea for a logo for Vesi because I loved how the gold matched with the black background so much. I also liked the original layout with the slogan below the name Vesi and the symbol how the name. in my opinion it makes it look quite clean but also high quality/ almost premium. I debated to keep the name Vesi in the original font because it looked like someone had written it themselves, which made me think that the font was looked quite natural. I also changed the symbol (because it had nothing to do with Vesi) to a gold silhouette of the country Finland to show Vesi is a Finnish water. The slogan is “Pure and hydrating” translated to Finnish to also enthesis that the water is Finnish. However, I shall unfortunately not be choosing this logo because the colour theme doesn’t match colour theme of summer (its part of the brief that the water and the adverts be out intime for summer). Also combining the colour theme to the elegant use of fonts with the silhouette of Finland, it makes it, in my mind, feel like this should be a logo for a wine company instead of naturally electrolysed water. ^- how the design looks in different forms of media

Logo idea 2: <- how it looked to start with <- after I altered it I originally chose this logo because I liked the idea of having a box about the symbol, company name and slogan. That combined with the front and simple colour and shades of crème back and dark- ish grey made it look simple but effective and almost vintage like. However, after editing the original idea I decided to incorporate more colours to do with summer like cyan blue and goldy yellow. I also love the layout of having the company name and logo on one side with a divider with the symbol on the other side of the divider. It gives it a playful look in my opinion. The symbol is of a Lily of the Valley, which is the national flower of Finland, so that combined with the company name and slogan show that the water is Finnish. I also decided to use the font on the company logo because it looks more natural because it like someone has physically written Vesi on the logo, the fact that it looks more natural is also a big plus because I would like to go for the more natural theme, because the water has got natural electrolytes and is naturally produced. However, I won't be choosing this logo because its not summery enough because the blue isn’t bright/Light enough and this just isn’t the best idea, although it is a close second. Logo idea 3: <- how it looked to start with <- after I altered it The only thing that I liked about this original logo was that the name of the company, the symbol and the slogan inside an outline of a circle, which I thought was quite clean and it makes your eyes focus to what is inside the circle (the important information). After I had a play around with the design, I made the colours lighter and more of them, so I thought that it would be more eye-catching. I also added to the circle around the symbol, company name and slogan because I originally liked the outline, but I also liked the box in the previous idea, therefore I almost combined the two, which makes the idea look clean but a bit more peaceful overall. I again added the outline of the country Finland because I really liked the idea and the overall idea of trying to keep Finland incorporated in the logo ideas. I also decided to see how a simpler font on the company name and slogan would look. However, I will not be choosing this idea because it's too simple, boring and easy and it doesn’t have anything to do with a summery colour theme. ^ | How the logo looks in certain forms of media

Logo idea 4: <- how it looked to start with ^- after I altered it I originally picked this logo because I loved the outlined circle around the company name, slogan and symbol because it looked quite fun and natural because it looks like someone had naturally made the outline instead of it being computer generated, it also reminds me of water and how it flows around something. As you can see from my editing of the logo design, I have made it way more summery with the use of pale yellow and turquoise. I kept the circle outline, which is now I purply colour, I changed it to this colour because purple goes well with both yellow and turquoise and good at showing you where to look. I kept the name of the company, the slogan and the symbol in the same colour so that it's not look complicated and don’t know here to look. I also again used the Lily of the Valley due to it being Finland's national flower. This will be the logo that I am doing to use because it is the closest logo design to the summer theme. It also looks quite natural because of the circular outline, company name font and the image of the Lilly of the Valley because they look like they have been physically drawn on. The natural look is alao what I am looking for because in the brief Vesi is naturally produced with natural electrolytes which can hydrate and balance the body.
