2. AIM OF THE PROJECT : Aim of this project is to save people’s life from the Explosions of cylinder, caused by the leakage of harmful gases.

4. WHAT IS LPG GAS DETECTION SYSTEM ? It is a safety mechanism that automatically shuts off the gas supply when it detects a leak of gases such as LPG, butane, methane, or propane , which are the harmful gases. This system is preventing further leakage and potential hazards like fire or explosion.

5. METHODS It works on the principle of 4 methods SENSOR DETECTION SIGNAL PROCESSING ALARM ACTIVATION AUTOMATIC SHUT – OFF THE GAS SUPPLY

6. HOW IT WORKS FIRST , THE MQ-2 SENSOR DETECTS THE LEAKAGE OF GAS FROM CYLINDER OR STOVE , AND IT GIVES SIGNAL TO THE ARDUINO UNO BOARD AND LCD DISPLAY. THEN THE BUZZER RINGS AND THE SERVO MOTOR AUTOMATICALLY STOPS THE LEAKAGE OF LPG GAS BY TURNING OFF THE KNOB OF THE STOVE.

7. BENEFITS OR ADVANTAGES PREVENTS THE EXPLOSIONS OR BURSTINGS OF CYLINDERS. PREVENTING THE RELEASE OF HARMFUL GASES SUCH AS METHANE ,PROPANE ,BUTANE THESE ARE THE GASES WHICH CONTRIBUTES TO THE GLOBAL WARMING AND ARE ALSO POTENT OF GREENHOUSE GAS.
