Manasika Prakriti Depending upon the predominance of Manasika g una it is of 3 categories are explained by Acharya charaka in Shareera sthana 4 th Chapter – mahathi garbhavakranhi 3 Types of manasika Prakritis :- Satvika Prakriti - ( charak -7 and kashyapa-8 prajapatya satwa ) Rajasika Prakriti Tamasika Prakriti Satvika Prakriti is considered as the best & superior among these 3 prakritis .
These trigunas are important impulses of mind which distinguish individuals according to their psychological constitution. The satvika person is free from defects as it is endowed with auspiciousness. The rajasika type is defective because it promotes wrathful disposition . Tha tamasika type is defective bacause it suffers from ignorance . Again charak and sushruta subdivided into 16 types

Types of satwika prakruthi 1) BRAHMAKAYA The features of Brahmakaya – 1. purity, love for truth , self controlled over indriyas 2. power of descrimation 3. material and spiritual knowledge 4. power of exposition , reply and good memory 5. freedom from passion, anger, greed, ego, ignorance, jealously , dejection and intolerance 6. favourable disposition equally for all creatures.
2 . Arsa / Risi satwa (KAYA) Features of Risi Satva – 1 . devotion to sacred rituals, study, sacred vows, oblations and celibacy 2 . hospitable disposition 3 . freedom from pride, ego, attachment, hatred, ignorance, greed and anger 4. intellectual excellence 5. power of understanding and retention
3 ) AINDRA KAYA Features of A i ndra kaya :- 1. lordship and authoritative speech 2. performance of sacred rituals 3. bravery, strenghth and splendour 4. freedom from mean acts 5. far sightedness 6 devotion to virtuous acts, earning of wealth and proper satisfaction of desire.
4. YAMYA SATVA (KAYA) The features of Yamya Satva – 1.observance of the propriety of actions 2. initiation of actions in time 3. non - violability 4. readiness for initiating action 5. memory and lordship 6. freedom from attachment , envy, hatred and ignorance
5 ) VARUNA KAYA Features of Varuna Kaya – 1. breavery , patience, purity and dislike for impurity 2. observance of religious rites 3. fondness for aquatic sports 4. aversion for mean acts 5 exhibition of anger and pleasure in proper place.
6 ) KUBERA KAYA The features of Kubera kaya – 1. possession of station, honour 2. Constant linking for virtuous act, wealth and satifaction of desires 3 . purity 4. linking for plesures of recreation .
7 . GANDHARVA KAYA The features of Gandharva Kaya – 1. Fondness for dancing, singing, music and praise 2. expertness in poetry, stories, historical narrations and epics 3. constant fondness for scents, garlands , association of women and passion

3 ) . PISHACA KAYA (SATVA] 1 gluttonous habit 2 fondess for women 3 liking for staying with women in lonely place 4 unclean habits , disliking for cleanliness 5 cowardice and terrifying disposition 6 restoring to abnormal diet and regimens
4 SARPA KAYA (SATVA ) 1 . bravery when in wrathful disposition and cowardice when not in wrathful disposition 2. sharp reaction 3. excessive indolence 4. walking , talking food and resorting to other regimens with a fearful disposition
5 preta kaya :- 1 excessive desire for food 2 excessive painful disposition in character and past time 3 enviousness 4 actions without discrimination , excessive greediness and inactions
6 sakuna kaya :-attachment with passion, excseesive food and regimen , unsteadiness , ruthlessness and unacquisitiveness .
