Madhya Pradesh is Located in the “ Central part ” of India Which is why it’s often called the ‘‘Heart of India’’ It borders the states of Rajasthan to the northwest, Uttar Pradesh to the northeast, Chhattisgarh to the east, Maharashtra to the south, Gujarat to the west Madhya Pradesh
Area :- The second-largest state in India. It covers about 308,350 square km. Capital of M.P : Bhopal

Climate Condition :- Winter ( O ctober-February ) Pleasant ,cool and comfortable weather Temperature : 5C to 25C ( Colder in hill stations like pachmarhi ) Ideal for sightseeing,wildlife safaris and cultural tours. Summer (March- J une ) Very hot,especially in central and northern parts. Temperature : 30C to 45C ( some time even higher ) Dry winds make daytime travel uncomfortable . 3) Monsoon ( J uly- S eptember) Moderate to heavy R ainfall,especially in eastern and southern regions. Temperature : 25C to 32C. Lush greenery,Rivers and waterfalls are at their best but heavy rains can disturb travel.

Roads connect major cities like bhopal -Indore-Gwalior-Jabalpur-Ujjain. 4) Waterways :- Though not widely developed , river transport is possible in parts of the Narmada,Betwa and Chambal rivers . Projects for water tourism and small passenger boats exist in places like Omkareshwar and Hanuwantiya (On the Narmada river) 5) Local Transport:- City buses, auto-rickshaws, taxis, app based cabs ( ola , uber )are common in big cities like Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur,Gwalior . E-rickshaws are increasing in smaller town. Indore has India’s first ibus BRTS (Bus Rapid Transit System).
