Backgorund
Projects.co.id is an online platform that connects
individuals or companies with professionals who have the
creative and technical skills needed. They offer a variety
of services, including freelancer recruiting, job bidding,
and project team collaboration.
However “Many users feel that the Projects.co.id
application is confusing, especially in searching for
projects that match their profile. They experienced
difficulties because the search flow was considered less
intuitive and ineffective.”

The research will involve 5 respondents with the
following specifications:
Have experience as a freelancer
Have no experience as a freelancer
Become a part-time freelancer
Have regular customers
Have had clients at least once every 2 weeks
Have transacted via Projects.co.id at least once

agreement about a project
• To know the goals, needs, pain points of users
while Searching for Projects.
• Identify existing products and strategies on the
market, then use them as benchmarks to develop

3 out of 5 respondents when using the projects.co.id application only look for the newest project
Users feel that searching for projects in the projects.co.id application is quite complicated because they
have to search for ones that suit their role manually.
The chat feature makes it very easy for users to communicate with clients.
General Behavior User
Users feel that logging in is quite complicated because they have to get an OTP code from email and
sometimes it goes in, sometimes it doesn't.
When you want to search for a project, users sometimes feel confused about the algorithm that comes
out when searching according to the keyword.
The homepage has too many menus which makes users feel confused.
Pain Point

12. Make logging in easier by logging in via Google or Apple.
Create a profile that is relevant to the job they want by creating a question that summarizes their job
title so that this question will help directly display the jobs that are available and the latest ones with
the user's job title.
Carry out a minimalist and user-friendly redesign of the homepage so that users don't feel awkward
when there are changes to the homepage.

because the buttons provided themselves are
clearly visible.
For this section, I didn't find any problems and I
felt that was enough.

When users want to choose a project, they are
now greatly helped by the latest project features
available on the homepage that match their job
title
There are additional findings from users when in
the project section available on the homepage,
namely adding rating or verified information for
the client so that it can increase trust in the
client.
