Presenter name: Carl Andrei josol Managing a Project VB

What is Visual Basic? Visual Basic (VB) is an event-driven programming language and environment from  Microsoft  that provides a graphical user interface ( GUI ) which allows programmers to modify code by simply dragging and dropping  objects  and defining their behavior and appearance. VB is derived from the  BASIC  programming language and is considered to be event-driven and  object-oriented . Sample Footer Text 2

How Visual Basic is used? The structure of VB is designed to allow programmers to use the environment to write executable files . Also, using VB, developers can create programs that can be utilized as a  front end  to databases. VB tools can help programmers develop applications or complete software while still allowing them to modify and revise their work accordingly. Sample Footer Text 3

What is project in Visual Basic? In Visual Studio, projects are the containers that developers use to organize source code files and other resources that appear in Solution Explorer. Typically, projects are files, for example, a . csproj file for a Visual C# project, that store references to source code files and resources like bitmap files. Sample Footer Text 4

Structure of Visual Basic Sample Footer Text 5 A Visual Basic program is built up from standard building blocks. A  solution  comprises one or more projects. A  project  in turn can contain one or more assemblies. Each  assembly  is compiled from one or more source files. A  source file  provides the definition and implementation of classes, structures, modules, and interfaces, which ultimately contain all your code.
