Circuit Relationship of Compressor-OLP-Start relay Prepared by: MR. MARIO BULANADI RAC Trainer
Basic Electricity Electricity is a form of energy. It is a major source of energy for the operation of many parts in the refrigeration system. Electricity has many sources, it can produce from chemicals, pressure, lights, heat waves, and magnetism. Direct Current and Alternating Current Direct current travels in one direction, from negative to positive. It has polarity, positive and negative. Alternating current has no polarity since it is continually rapidly reversing.
Electrical Units of Measurements ELECTROMOTIVE FORCE (VOLTAGE) FLOW OF ELECTRONS(CURRENT ) OPPOSITION TO THE FLOW OF ELECTRONS(RESISTANCE)
OHM’S LAW E I R Where: E = VOLTAGE I = CURRENT R = RESITANCE
Electrical Circuit Basics Types of circuit connection Series circuit- a type circuit where electrical loads are connected one from the other. Parallel circuit- an electrical circuit where two or three loads are connected one beside the other. Series/Parallel circuit- circuit in which two or more loads are connected both in series and parallel. L1 L2 SW R1 R2 L1 L2 R1 R2 L1 L2
