Meaning SEO : Search Engine Optimization is the process to increase the visibility of you website in Search Engine Result Page (SERP) . On-Page SEO : On page SEO is the process of optimizing webpages and their content for both search engines and users.
1. Keyword Research It is a process of finding and analyzing search terms that people use to search engines for a specific purpose. Example:- if you were looking to buy a new jacket, you might type something like “ Mens leather jacket” into google. Google’s Keyword Planner is a free tool that helps to discover new keywords related to your business and generates estimates of the searches the keywords receive.
There are 4 types of Intent in Keyword Research 1. Navigational Intent : when the person is looking for any product or service near him/her. Therefore, when a customer searches then in SERP ( Search Engine Ranking Page ) those websites are on 1st page which are nearer to the customer. 3. Commercial Intent : when the customer wants to buy or educate to buy a product or service. 2. Informational Intent : When a person want to get information about any service or product. 4. Transactional Intent : when the customer desires to buy the product and it uses words like “Buy” or “Purchase”.
2. Keyword Mapping Keyword mapping is the researching and planning of the keywords and long-tail phrases that go on a website. Keyword mapping can help users find the information they're looking for, and help search engines understand the relevance of each page to specific search queries.
3. Title Tag Optimization Title tag optimization is the process of improving a page's title tag to help search engines and readers understand its value and increase the likelihood of a click-through. Character limit in title tag is 60–65 characters with space and it should highlight the main keywords.
4. Meta Description Optimization Meta Description Title tag optimization is the process of improving a page's title tag to help search engines and readers understand its value and increase the likelihood of a click-through. Character limit in title tag is 160–165 characters with space and it should highlight the main keywords.
5. URL Optimization URL optimization is the process of improving a website's URL structure to make it easier for users and search engines to access. There is character limit of 90 in it and you can also highlight some keywords in it. T
6. Heading Optimization Heading optimization is the process of using heading tags to improve the readability and SEO of a webpage. Heading tags are text elements that provide a title or headline for a section of content on a webpage. Different levels of headings from H1 to H6 are used to indicate the main topic, subtopics, and sub-subtopics of your page.
7. Content Optimization Content optimization is the process of improving the visibility, engagement, and effectiveness of digital content so that it can reach the largest possible target audience. There is no limit in content you can give brief explanation of your product or service but it should be relevant.
8. Loading Speed Optimization Loading speed optimization is the process of reducing the time it takes for a web page to load and display on a user's browser. The ideal page load time is generally less than two seconds, and less than one second for mobile devices. Google uses a website's speed as a ranking signal, and considers slow websites to be less user-friendly. According to google, the probability of a user bouncing from a page almost triples if it takes longer than three seconds to load.
9. Image Alt Tag Image alt tag is for crawlers as crawler cannot see the picture we put on website. An image alt tag, also known as an alt attribute or alt description, is a text field in HTML code that describes an image or visual on a web page.
10. Anchor Tag An anchor tag, or anchor link, is an HTML tag that links one page to another or to sections on a single page. It is a link which we put on a keyword which open another page or site. Anchor tags are used to improve user experience and optimize site content for search engines. They are often used on long or text-heavy pages so that visitors can jump to a specific part of the page without having to scroll as much.
11. Robots.txt A robots.txt file is a text file that tells search engine crawlers which pages, folders, and file types to access on a site.
12. Internal Links Internal links are hyperlinks that connect one page on a website to another page on the same website or domain.
13. Xml Sitemap XML Sitemaps help search engines crawl a website more efficiently by providing an overview of all the available content and helping them understand the website's structure. This allows search engines to receive direct updates about changes to the website, such as when a new page is added or an old one is removed.
