RAJIV AWAS YOJANA (RAY)

Pilot Project at NSC Bose Nagar under RAJIV AWAS YOJANA scheme GoI Sanctioned 1413 Duplex Houses This is beneficiary led construction Project Cost Rs.7,617.57 Lakhs Amount sanctioned from Govt. Rs.200.00 lakhs The unit cost of 30` x 12` – Rs.4.38 Lakhs (including all provisions) - 1,328 Nos. The unit cost of 28` x 12` – Rs.4.33 Lakhs (including all provisions) - 85 Nos. The Govt. (70%) share is paid in 4 installments In addition to the above an amount of Rs.6,000/- is to be paid towards House shifting for rent in 2 installments (in 1 st Bill Rs.3,000/- + in Final bill Rs.3,000/-) The project was delayed due to certain discrepancies in selection of beneficiaries due to wrong names entries in DPR and difficulties faced during execution and many beneficiaries have not come forward and re-verification with MROs. In 1 st Phase, completed duplex houses and occupied - 27 and amount Rs.1,07,89,029/- In 2 nd Phase 18 beneficiaries have entered in to MOU, out of which 16 members have commenced their duplex houses, in which 11 houses have completed and occupied balance 5 houses are in progress. The bills are under preparation and to be paid So far expenditure is Rs. 33,38,000/- and to be paid Rs.7,56,086/-. Rajiv Awas Yojana

BENEFICIARY PROCESS : Bank Linkage for Loan Process : 8,233 beneficiaries for which Bank Loan applications have already been disbursed to beneficiaries. 2,400 filled in Bank Linkage applications received from beneficiaries. 5,833 are yet to be received from Beneficiaries. PAMY-HFA-AHP

ISSUES : A) Land requirement : No. of Houses sanctioned by Government under PMAY-HFA AHP : 55,800 Phase-I : 12,024, Phase-II : 16,128 Phase-III (Recent) : 27,648 A land of 153.11 acres at Jakkampudi and 81.45 acres at Vemavaram Village was allotted for housing vide GO.MS.No.517 MA&UD(UH) Dept., Dt.14-11-17 i.e. total land of 2,304.54 acres. Out of 234.54 acres a land of 6.30 acres at Jakkampudi has been allotted to Jakkampudi Economic Town Ship Vide G.O.MS.No.19 Energy, Infrastructure and Investment (AIRPORTS) Department, Dt.01-02-2018 for construction of 6.45 Lakhs sft built up area. Proposal was approved to acquire 104.04 acres in Vemavaram village in RS Nos 47; 50 to 55; 58; and 61 to 64 at Rs.1.00 Crore per acres but the farmers not agreed and proposal not fruitful. So far housing 8,496 units construction was taken up by APTIDCO in the available land extent area of 70.46 acres in Jakkampudi & Vemavaram village and the remaining 157.78 acres is hill slope which is not feasible for construction. Still there is a requirement of 537 acres of Land for construction of remaining housing 47,304 units. D.O Letter addressed to the District Collector, Krishna by the then Commissioner on 03-02-2019 for allotment of Government land 33.00 Acers in RS No.137; 160/1, 2; 142/2; 144/1, 2; 145/1, 2 & 159/1, 2 in Ibrahimpatnam village. Further in the above letter it was also requested to identify another suitable parcels of land about 504 acres. B) New Beneficiaries : About 22,124 beneficiaries got verified by District Revenue Department and they were provided with Form-4B and further process to be taken up. Continue.. C) Water Supply to PMAY Housing at Jakkampudi . APTIDCO has requested for sparing of 25 MLD water to the PMAY housing. APTIDCO authorities have approved DPR with inclusion of Sump cum Pump House at Head water works and tenders are under finalization. VMC has to provide 25 MLD water to their Sump cum Pump House at Head water works for which an amount of about Rs.18.00 Crs is required for construction of Water Treatment Plant (WTP). Continue..
