INTRODUCTION Comparative education is a discipline that entails the scrutiny and evaluation of different educational systems. Methodology in Comparative education is determined by the purpose of the study.

METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES Methodological approaches in Comparative educational management involves various strategies to analyze and compare educational systems , policies and practices across different contexts.

THE METHODS In studying comparative education we analyze the similarities and factors inherent in the educational systems of various countries. This method involves collecting and analyzing numerical data to identify trends and patterns in educational outcomes.

HISTORICAL METHOD APPROACH Historical methods are employed to know the past, understand the present better, and plan on improving the future. This approach looks at the geographical, social, racial, political, religious, and linguistic factors which influence the educational system of a country .

ANALYTICAL METHOD APPROACH This approach brings together the relationship that exists between the educational systems of a country and its social, political, and economic conditions . The analytical method follows the four main aspects of analysis Collection of data Interpretation of related data Determining standards for comparison Interpretation and conclusion

SCIENTIFIC METHOD APPROACH This method was developed by Harold Noah and Marc Eckstein in 1960. In this approach, they recommended the following procedures Problem identification and review of literature Definition of central concepts Sampling Data collection Data analysis Interpretation of data conclusions and recommendations

THE PROBLEM SOLVING METHOD APPROACH This method was developed by Brain Holmes in 1964. The stages are Problem identification Problem analysis Proposed problem solutions Speciation of the context Comparison and conclusions.
