3. Approach to medical education Hardware approach Applied engineering as its basis. Product-oriented Approach. Educational benefits to the mass with greater ease and economy. It includes: Projector, Computer; video- tape, other AV aids etc.

4. Approach to medical education Soft-ware approach Instructional Technology or Teaching Technology or Behavioural Technology. Principles of psychology for building in the learners a complex repertory of knowledge or modifying his behaviour . Software Approach is characterized by task-analysis, writing precise objectives, selection of appropriate learning strategies, immediate reinforcement of responses and constant evaluation.

10. Advantages of System approach Suitable resource material to achieve the specific goal. Integration of machines, media and people Access to the resource needs, their sources and facilities Orderly introduction of components required for student learning. It avoids rigidity in plan of action as continuous evaluation affords desired beneficial changes to be made.

11. Limitations of system approach Resistance to change. Old ways are difficult to erase. Involves hard work. System approach requires hard continuous work on the part of school personnel. Some are not prepared for extra load. Lack of understanding. Teacher and administrators are still not familiar with system approach.
