BOLT TIGHTENING Torque Control Method Torque Wrench HTB A325 ❏ Final control: Verify that in one bolt group, bolt rotation is uniform or within ± 30° of its average group rotations. If bolt rotations are not uniform, check final torque with torque wrench. If the final torque is ± 10% of torque design, bolt tightening is considered as succeed. Tools

BOLT TIGHTENING 1 . After primary fastening, give equal tension to each bolt b y actual fastening in the order of figure. 2 . After the final tightening, check marking position. It is acceptable if only the nut was shifted, not included the washer and the bolt. 3 . Furthermore, check the rotation of all bolt in a group. The difference of one bolt to another rotation shall be no more than 30 o in average.

ANCHORT BOLT 19 In usual case, using same size of template as base plate, fix anchor bolts by tying up to surrounding re- bar so as not to move when casting concrete. (Welding is not allowable) Prior to casting concrete, protect the threads of anchor bolts heads by winding waste cloth or vinyl tape, etc. in order that concrete does not adhere. Extrusion of bolt head from the top of base plate shall be double nuts + not less than 3 screw threads. 10
