What is Impressionism in Music?
Impressionism was an artistic movement that emerged from approximately 1870 to 1920.
Unlike the precise forms of earlier styles, Impressionism focused on suggestion, atmosphere, and emotional reactions.
It found expression in music, painting, and literature.
