NANOROBOTS By Y.Poojitha (EC23B1093) G.Oohitha (EC23I1007)
What are N anobots ? Robots that function on a nanoscale are known as nanorobots or nanobots . The principles of robotics, nanotechnology, and material sciences are merged in the interdisciplinary field of nanorobotics to create nanites . They have been specifically created to carry out required functions at the tiny level. Nanobots typically have sizes between 1 and 100 nanometers.
Elements They are made of combination of organic and Non-organic materials, mostly silicon and oxygen are used which makes them flexible, durable and conduct electricity . Technologies used in Nanorobots Nano Scale sensors Nano Scale Actuators Control systems
Uses of Nanobots The use of N anorobots have significant role in Health care and manufacturing. Used in Target Drug Delivery, which can lower side effects and dosage . Crucial in a few prolonged surgeries since they lessen the requirement for a hospital stay . Utilized for early diagnosis, to enhance vaccinations, and to kill cancer cells . Used as DNA probes in research.
Working of Nanorobots When a tiny robot is inserted into the bloodstream. The robot locates the disease's source, goes to the proper location, and delivers the necessary dosage of medication to the affected area.
Applications Breaking up kidney stones - - Nanorobots can effectively break large kidney stones using small laser instead of the ultrasonic frequencies often used by doctors. Controlling Glucose Level -- Nanorobot is programmed to emit a signal on specified lunch times and to measure glucose levels in desired interval of time. Cancer cells detection and treatment — It provides non depressed therapy for cancer patients
Manufacturing N anorobots Nanorobots could help enterprises increase the productivity and caliber of their production processes. Nanorobots are capable of doing jobs with a level of accuracy and precision that is challenging to accomplish using conventional manufacturing techniques. This may save waste, increase worker safety, and limit errors while also enhancing product quality and consistency.
