NCC General Marks-5 HISTORY OF NCC National cadet crops(NCC) is a tri-services organization , comprising the Army , Navy and Air force , engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. 1914-1917-University corps( bristish government) during first world war. 1917-University corps under Indian Defence act 1917 . 1920- Indian territorial act was passed , the university corps was replaced by the university training corps(UTC). 1942-University officers training corps(UOTC). 15 July 1948-National cadet crops came into exitence by act of parliament. 1949- After the Independence for SW/JW

5. ABOUT NCC FLAG 1951-NCC badge and unit designation. 1954-Tri-colour flag introduced. RED = Army. DEEP BLUE =Navy. LIGHT BLUE = Air forces. 17 lotuses = 17 State directorates.
