2. O bjective: To provide an interface and communication channel TO: Excavation / D igging agencies Utility Asset O wners To coordinate for proposed excavation / digging activities and to safeguard existing underlying utility assets like Optical Fibre Cables, Water Pipelines, Electric Cables, Gas Pipelines etc. from damages. “Call Before u Dig” Mobile App Introduction: Various agencies often undertake excavation activities and many times underground utility assets get damaged. This may be due to lack of knowledge of excavation agencies about existing utilities or lack of coordination with utility asset owner agencies.

3. App will have two category of users : Shall use CBuD App to make enquiry prior to excavation to inform about its excavation plan and to know contact details of asset owners and about utility asset at the location. Will receive notification of excavator’s enquiry through SMS/email/in-app and know about imminent excavation activity. Respond to excavator and coordinate. “Call Before u Dig” Mobile App Excavator need to Self- registered Asset Owner users are configured in structured manner top-to-bottom level. (NO self-registration)
