3. What is nuclear pollution??? Any undesirable effect caused to the environment due to radioactive substances or radiations is called nuclear pollution.

4. NUCLEAR FISSION Nuclear fission  is the process in which a large nucleus splits into two smaller nuclei with the release of energy. In other words, fission the process in which a nucleus is divided into two or more fragments, and neutrons and energy are released.

5. CAUSES OF NUCLEAR POLLUTION Uranium mining  Production of nuclear fuel  Nuclear power reactors  Transportation of Nuclear Matters Nuclear Accidents Nuclear tests carried out by the Defense Personnel; and  Disposal of nuclear waste.
