By setting up access rights in Odoo 18, businesses can ensure that only authorized personnel can view, edit, or delete financial records. 3. Enterprise To Configure accounting access right, first we can go to Users in General settings.

4. Enterprise From there we can choose the user whom we want to set the access right.

5. Enterprise Here we can choose the user types for the current user. Each user type is having distinct levels of access and permissions. We can choose the User types as Internal user for accounting.

6. Enterprise The access right to the Internal User for accounting can be set as Administrator, Bookkeeper, Invoicing & Banks, Read-only, Invoicing.

7. Enterprise Administrator user has the highest privileges. This user can create and manage customer invoices, vendor bills, customer payments, and vendor payments, and reconcile payments with bank statements. Furthermore, they will able to take the financial reports and will be accessible to the configuration settings of the accounting module.

8. Enterprise Administrator has full access including configuration rights and accounting data management.

9. Enterprise The next accounting access right is the Bookkeeper.

10. Enterprise Bookkeeper has access to all accounting features including reporting, asset management, analytic accounting without configuration rights.

11. Enterprise The Invoicing & Banks is the other access right in accounting module.

12. Enterprise The Invoicing & Banks users adds the accounting dashboard, bank management and follow-up reports.

13. Enterprise The Read-only role is ideal for users who need to view financial data without making any changes.

14. Enterprise This user has access to all accounting data but in read only mode and no actions allowed.

15. Enterprise Users having the invoicing access right has the least access to the accounting module.

16. Enterprise They have access to the Customers, Vendors menu and basic invoice reporting.
