Indian wrestler Ravi Kumar Dahiya clinched an Olympic silver medal after losing his 57 kg final to Russian two-time defending world champion Zavur Uguev . 04. WOMEN’S SINGLE BADMINTON – P.V. SINDU – BRONZE MEDAL Sindhu is the only Indian woman to win two Olympic medals. Sindhu finished third in women's singles badminton at the Tokyo Olympics after beating China's He Bing Jiao in straight games in the bronze medal play-off match in Tokyo.
05. WOMEN’S WELTERWEIGHT BOXING – LOVLINA BORGOHAIN BRONZE Lovlina Borgohain is an Indian boxer and an Olympic medal winner. She won a bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the Women's welterweight event, becoming only the third Indian boxer to win a medal at the Olympics. Lovlina secured her Olympic quota, becoming the first woman from Assam to qualify for the Olympics, by entering the semifinals of the Asia & Oceania Boxing Olympic Qualification Tournament in March 2020. She won bronze after losing in the semifinals to 2018 World silver medallist Gu Hong of China.

07. WRESTLING (65kg) – BAJARANG PUNIA – BRONZE MEDAL Bajrang Punia (born 26 February 1994) is a freestyle wrestler from India. He competes in the 65-kg weight category . He is the only Indian wrestler to win 3 medals at the World Wrestling Championships . He won a bronze medal by defeating Kazakhstan’s Daulet Niyazbekov at Tokyo Olympics, where the former Asian Games gold medalist dominated the men's 65 kg bronze medal bout from start to finish. The bronze medal match ended in a 8-0 scoreline in favour of Punia .

OLD AND NEW MOTO OF OLYMPICS :- The original olympic motto is made up of three latin words : Citius-Altius-Fortius These words means Faster-Higher-Stronger > On 20 th of July, the session of the International olympics committee approved a change in the olympic motto that recognises the unifying power of sport and the importance of solidarity. The change add the word “together” after an en dash to “FASTER, HIGHER , STRONGER” >The new olympics motto now reads in latin “ Citius - Altius - Fortius -COMMUNITER ” Means “ Faster-Higher-Stronger- TOGETHER IN ENGLISH ” This was to reflect solidarity across the world at the time of covid-19.
