→ Regularly audit, integration and validate information to ensure BIM
model is robust.

models.
→ Ensure the Consultant/team delivered models has standardized
properties.

→ Provide web-based interface and a standardized tracking system to ensure
complete coordination for model updates, changes, revisions, clash detection
reports and BIM requests for information.
→ Coordinating between the Contractorʼs design team and all the consultants,
subconsultants and vendors.
→ Support and sharing the models to contractor's technical team to enhance the
shop drawing production.
→ Tracking & monitoring the consultants BIM deliverables & schedules, to achieve
the contractors project milestones.
→ To ensure all BIM deliverables and its compliance according to employer's
contract.

Copy drawings as required.

Project Description
Designated as Architect of Record for St. Regis Hotel Towers, ECG also
supervised the construction of the exclusive development. The
200,000 m
2
hospitality and hotel-serviced residential complex debuts
the global St. Regis brand to Africa. It encompasses two towers and a
retail atrium with sweeping views of the River Nile.
The Cairo Nile Corniche Towers include luxurious residential
apartments and penthouses, serviced apartments, offices, retail units,
restaurants, and a five-star hotel. Towering as high as 38 floors, St.
Regis contains 226 furnished rooms, 60 suites, 98 serviced
apartments, 16 luxurious serviced apartments, 102 luxurious hotel-
serviced apartments, and a penthouse. Other amenities offered
include more than 8,000 ft

of meeting and conference spaces, a
business center, retail units, four restaurants, a lounge, an outdoor
pool, a luxury spa, a fitness center, and an 800-slot underground

•The BIM must be updated continuously throughout the
construction process and must include all addenda,
approved change orders, field orders, clarifications, Request
for Information (RFI) responses and as-built conditions. The
Record BIM includes the BIM at a Level of Development 500
and includes a description of the
•relationship of each model in the Record BIM to the others.
Contractor may reference the AIA Document E202 – 2008 for
Level of Development 500 description. In addition, the
Record BIM must be accompanied by the final versions of all
fabrication and detailing models prepared by Contractor
and its Sub-Consultants. All models must be provided in
native file format with a description of the software used to
create the model (software manufacturer, software name,
version number, and operating system used for the
software.
•Laser scanning is required to be used by the Contractor to
verify accuracy of as-built model. Contractorʼs BEP should
identify:
•- Primary and secondary objectives of laser scanning.
•- Areas of Interest.
•- Resolution requirements and measurement units.
•- Type of deliverable.
•- Control network or other dimensional control; and
•- Quality control procedures.
•Contractor can propose alternative method of as-built
model verification for THE ENGINEER approval.
