2. GM: AGM periodically reviews the weekly meetings on speed restrictions of the trains in the divisions held by the Divisional Railway Managers in coordination with Chief Operations Manager and Principal Chief Engineer at the Head Quarters level.

3. managing train operations in the division . This includes planning the train schedules, ensuring the timely departure and arrival of trains, and managing the train movements. Managing infrastructure: DRM is responsible for managing the infrastructure of the division. DRM :

4. DME : Organization is headed by Chief Motive Power Engineer (Diesel) with Dy CME (DSL) and AEME (DSL). A  Senior Divisional Mechanical Engineer  (DSL)/DME(DSL) is in-charge of each Diesel shed, who looks after repairs and maintenance of Diesel Locomotives running over Western Railway. Diesel sheds. 5. ADME :  The Assistant Engineer is generally responsible for the maintenance and safety of all way and works in his charge, for the accuracy, quality and progress of new works and control over all expenditure in relation to budget allotment.

6. These officers are  responsible for the maintenance of all fixed assets of Indian railways , i.e. Track, Bridges, Buildings, Roads, Water supply, land etc. Super check of coaching and goods trains, conduct night inspections, joint inspection with officers of Civil.   Engg , S&T, Electrical and Mechanical department and Safety Audit . 7. SENIOR OFFICER : Acting and using the powers as delegated vide NWR SOPs. ii. Monitor the train operational work of entire division. iii. Make close liaison with other Divisions / Divl . Departments’ officers to facilitate smooth train operations. iv. Appraise the Train operation position to the HQ officials.

8. JUNIOR OFFICER : This officers are acts as the staff of organisation .This officers are works under the senior officers . The work of this officers is Continuous updating and designing of job descriptions, reduction of number of categories for job enrichment through multi skilling, / qualifications and responsibilities are need of the day. Review of work methods and sequences regularly, so as to create groups for execution of job whenever new technologies are introduced.
