Training ?
An orientation training is a
training where a new member
is introduced to a particular
setting.”
Purposes of Orientation
Training
For effective administration :-
◦Nursing division can work smoothly
◦Personnel will be acquainted with
philosophy, policies, routine of the work
and methods of patient care
Purposes of Orientation

For efficient working:-
Enable to work efficiently and provide
comprehensive care to the patients.
Enable reduce the learning by trial and
error.
Orientation will reduce anxiety and
frustration in the new recruited nurses.
It will help the nursing personnel to
adapt the changes faster and help
them to be at ease and comfortable in
new situations.
