8. GREENSHIP is a rating tool designed to evaluate buildings based on the achievement of sustainable building
concepts. It was developed by Green Building Council Indonesia as an established member of the World
Green Building Council.
GREENSHIP Rating Tool is based on the current climate characteristics as well as the regulations and
standards applicable in Indonesia. It is developed with the involvement of many sectors, such as architects,
mechanical and electrical experts, interior designers, landscape architects, and stakeholders from the building
product industry, developers, contractors, academics, NGOs/associations, and the government.
