What are traditional sports?
Traditional sports are sports that have been part of a particular culture or
society for a long time , they are often passed down through generations.
Traditional sports are established sports with formalized rules and
structure.
They are broader and can apply to various cultural practices passed
through generations, regardless of the group'sbackground
CRICKET
Is a bat-and-ball game played
between two team, each
consistently of 11 players.
The main objective is to score
runs by hitting the ball with a
bat and running between two
set of three stumps while the
opposing team tries to stop
them by getting
thebatsmenout.
BASKETBALL
Is a team sport played on a rectangular
court with a hoop at each end, it consist
of two teams of five players.
To score they must shoot a ball through
the opponent's hoop, the team with the
most points at the end of the
fourquarterswins.
TENNIS
Tennis Is a racket sport played between two players (singles)
or four players (doubles) on a rectangular court with a net
in the centre.
Players use rackets to hit a ball back and forth over
the net, aiming to make it land in the opponent's
court while preventing the opponent from returning
it.. Tennis require hand-eye coordination,
agilityandstrategy.
