Ikmal Fahmi is a Malaysian entrepreneur. and a journalist at IF Reporter. In early 2023, he published his e-book called Explore Inner Self He won a grant worth RM 4500 in YSEALI Bootcamp 2022 which enabled him to organize Kau Okay Tak K.O.T Expo, a children mental health expo. In early 2024, he ventured into his news agency start-up called IF Reporter and founded IFG Technology, a cybersecurity firm in the same year. To further create a healthy political way, he came out with Akademi Parlimen Malaysia, a political education enterprise followed by IFC Property, a construction firm.

The 4th Asia and the Pacific Youth Symposium (APYS4), held
virtually from April 17-19, 2024, provided a platform for dialogue
and collaboration among governments, NGOs, youth, and
stakeholders to tackle climate issues in the region. The
symposium focused on empowering youth, especially young
women, by fostering skills for green jobs, enhancing policy-
making participation, and promoting a just transition. It aimed to
increase accessibility, inclusivity, and intergenerational
dialogue, consolidating youth contributions to climate solutions
and facilitating collaboration across diverse sectors to address
climate challenges and promote sustainable development.

he 2022 ASEAN Korea Youth Summit (AKYS), organized by the
Ministry of Gender Equality and Family of the Republic of
Korea alongside various partners, took place from August 9-12,
2022, in a hybrid format. With the theme "Carbon Neutrality
and ASEAN-Korea Youth," the summit gathered 110 student
representatives from ASEAN countries and South Korea to
discuss cooperation on carbon neutrality, environmental
justice, green technology, environmental health, and
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event included
pre-activities, the main summit, and post-summit activities to
enhance youth participation in these crucial areas.

Debate to Regulate (D2R) is a program designed to equip young
professionals from Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the
Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam with tools to champion online
safety, emphasizing a human rights-based approach and a Safety
by Design mindset. Delivered by the ASEAN-Australia Strategic
Youth Partnership (AASYP) and Australia's eSafety
Commissioner, the program includes virtual workshops for
foundational online safety knowledge and a Model UN-style
conference in Bangkok. During the conference on May 2-3, 2024,
delegates collaborate in teams to draft a resolution on online
safety and human rights-based regulation.
