BRICS is an intergovernmental organization comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia, and the United Arab Emirates. Originally identified to highlight investment opportunities,[1] the grouping evolved into a geopolitical bloc, with their governments meeting annually at formal summits and coordinating multilateral policies since 2009. Bilateral relations among BRICS are conducted mainly based on non-interference, equality and mutual benefit.[2

BRICS BANK: INTRODUCTION The New Development Bank (NDB), formerly referred to as the BRICS Development Bank, is a multilateral development bank operated by the BRICS states (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) . The NDB is a multilateral financial institution established in 2015 by BRICS It has its headquarters in Shanghai, China. All the founding member nations of BRICS NDB enjoy equal shareholding and voting rights in the governance of the bank. Current president: Marcos Prado Troyjo from Brazil. Mr.K.V . Kamath from India was the first president of the NDB (2015-2020).
