Macam-macam Skala Pengukuran Skala Pengukuran merupakan kesepakatan yang digunakan sebagai acuan untuk menentukan panjang pendeknya interval yang ada dalam alat ukur , sehingga alat ukur tersebut bila digunakan dalam pengukuran akan menghasilkan data kuantitatif . Sebagai contoh , misalnya timbangan emas sebagai instrumen untuk mengukur berat emas , dibuat dengan skala mg dan akan menghasilkan data kuantitatif berat emas dalam satuan mg bila digunakan untuk mengukur ; meteran sebagai instrumen untuk mengukur panjang dibuat dengan skala mm , dan akan menghasilkan data kuantitatif panjang dengan satuan mm. Berbagai skala sikap yang dapat digunakan untuk penelitian Administrasi , Pendidikan dan Sosial antara lain : Skala Likert Skala Guttman Rating Scale Semantic Deferential Ke lima jenis skala tersebut bila digunakan dalam pengukuran , akan mendapatkan data interval, atau rasio . Hal ini akan tergantung pada bidang yang akan diukur .
