Preparing Deviled Eggs in 10 Steps

Step 1
● Bring a pot of water to a light bubble.
Step 2
●Gently add six eggs to the water with a large
spoon, being careful not to crack the eggs.
Step 3
●3. Allow eggs to simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 4
●Retrieve eggs with a large spoon and add to an
ice bath to chill for 10 minutes.
Step 5
●Take eggs out of ice bath, then crack and peel
off eggshell and membrane. Rinse eggs to
remove egg shell fragments.
Step 6
●Slice eggs from top to bottom vertically with a
knife and scoop out yolk, adding to a medium
mixing bowl. Reserve egg whites.
Step 7
●Add 3 parts mayonnaise, 1 part mustard, 1/2
teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of another desired
spice or herb, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon
black pepper to bowl with egg yolks.
Step 8
●Mix until a smooth paste is formed, then scoop paste
into a zip top bag and seal.
Step 9
●Cut a small hole on the lower corner of the bag and
pipe mixture into egg whites. Garnish with a spice
or herb if desired.
Step 10
●Serve and enjoy!
