Communication Communication One way and Two way Submitted by Anupriya A S Malayalam

Communication Communication is a vital process in both personal and professional life. It is how we share ideas , thoughts , feelings , and information with others.

One way communication One-way communication refers to a communication process where information flows in a single direction, from the sender to the receiver, without any feedback or interaction from the receiver Some examples of one-way communication include  television , radio , writings , speeches and performances

Two Way Communication Two-way communication is a form of communication where information is exchanged between two or more parties , with both the sender and receiver having the opportunity to respond and provide feedback Face-to-face conversations, phone calls, and written exchanges are included in two-way communication.

One way communication Information flows I a single direction, from sender to receiver No feedback from receiver Receiver only listens/reads Message may not be clear as there is no confirmation Radio, TV, Newspaper, Public announcement Less effective in understanding needs of receiver Two way communication Information flows both ways, from sender to receiver and back Feedback is given by the receiver Both sender and receiver interact Message clarify improves because of feedback Face to face conversation, phone call, classroom discussion More effective as mutual understanding is possible
