This means they can stay in the air without moving. They can also land without a runway. Helicopters are used for rescuing people. They are also used for observing animals in the wild. Helicopters are pretty cool! They're aircraft that have large rotating blades on top that allow them to fly and hover in the air. 3. How it’s works Helicopters stay balanced in the air through a combination of factors. The main one is the rotor system, which generates lift and allows the helicopter to stay airborne. The pilot also adjusts the cyclic and collective controls to maintain stability. It's a complex process, but it all comes together to keep the helicopter balanced and flying smoothly.

Helicopter roles Rescue & Evacuation : Helicopters are used as  air ambulances  for  emergency medical assistance  in situations when an  ambulance  cannot easily or quickly reach the scene, or cannot transport the patient to a medical facility in time. Helicopters are also used when patients need to be transported between medical facilities and air transportation is the most practical method . Military roles : Military forces use  attack helicopters  to conduct aerial attacks on ground targets. Such helicopters are mounted with  missile launchers  and  miniguns

Aerial cranes are used to place heavy equipment, like radio transmission towers and large air conditioning units, or when an item must be raised up in a remote area, such as a radio tower raised on the top of a hill or mountain.
