2. Literature Review

Literature Review at Least 4 you have u done ( EXAMPLE U SEE BELOW) Author & Title Year & Journal Out come of research Lucian Tudose & Optimal mass minimization design of a two-stage coaxial helical speed reducer with Genetic Algorithms 2013 SCIENCE DIRECT In this paper two-stage helical coaxial speed reducer is taken and the objective is to minimization mass of speed reducer using genetic algorithms The design variables considered in the optimization are of mixed nature i.e., integer (e.g. the gears number of teeth), discrete (e.g. normal tooth addendum coefficients) and real (e.g. gears width), in a total of 17. The results obtained by using GA show significant improvement over the results obtained by traditional design (a 17.94% mass reduction). It can be observed that the proposed Genetic Algorithm offers better design solutions as compared with the results obtained by using the traditional design method (i.e. a commonly trial and cut error). Jian Wang & Multi-objective optimal design of cycloid speed reducer based on genetic algorithm 2016 SCIENCE DIRECT In this paper cycloid speed reducers is taken and The objective is to minimize volume and maximize efficiency using GA. The mathematical model of multi-objective optimization, including the design variables, objective functions, and constraints is developed. The effectiveness of this optimization was demonstrated by an example.

Author & Title Year & Journal Out come of research B. Venkatesh & Investigate the Combined Effect of Gear ratio, Helix angle, Face width and Module on Bending and Compressive stress of Steel alloy Helical Gear 2014 SCIENCE DIRECT The work is to focus on investigating the combined effect of gear ratio, helix angle, face width and normal module on bending and compressive stress of high speed helical gear. Objective is to investigate variation in compressive stress and bending stress for different input variables like gear ratio, helix angle, face width and normal module The result shows that by Keeping the helix angle, face width, speed and module as constant, when the gear ratio is increased, the corresponding bending stress remained constant and the corresponding compressive stress decreases. Peng Yan & Gear Transmission Optimization Design based on Intelligent Algorithm 2014 IEEE In this paper the relationship between the tooth shape coefficient and the number of teeth is mapped into radial basis function neural network. Hidden layer and output layer weights has been optimized using genetic algorithm. Finally, genetic algorithm is used in reasonable selection of crossover probability and mutation probability for gear optimization design. This algorithm is used to design two grade helical cylindrical gear reducer.
