1. Project S C A L E STEM Ed Excellence in the time of COVID

2. Rationale The COVID-19 pandemic gave our school an opportunity to innovate in delivering quality STEM education. Project SCALE (Special Classes for Advanced Learning and Engagement) was implemented to offer the PODS Active Learning Model (blended modular, online, and limited face-to-face) and engage our partners to support our students as they compete in the STEM arena. 4. About Project S C A L E Special Classes for Advanced Learning and Engagement was conceptualized to provide advanced learning for STEM students and equip them with competitive skills and knowledge. Stakeholders were tapped as partners to propel these students in their national and international endeavors. PODS (Predict-Observe-Discuss-Synthesize) Model of Active Blended Learning, was employed to ensure maximum learning was achieved.
