Evidence based research is highly needed for global recognition and acceptance of Ayurveda , which needs further advancement in the research methodology.Therefore, advertisements in the ongoing research technology are highly required for the promotion of the ayurveda. So we have conducted a survey on the pros and cons of Ayurveda among the patients

View regarding the ayurvedic medicine takes time to cure disease . According to ma’am , It depends...disease is chronic or acute , it affect deeply or superficial the dhatus . For example ~ many Ayurvedic medicines are having quick results. Eg- Many shodhana drugs, drugs for intestinal disorders, many skin diseases etc give quick results. Actually speaking, Ayurvedic medicines are not used for symptomatic relief. They Are using to relieve the disease from root .So it take time when it is affect deeply tissues . 2 nd question
5 th question In the 5 th question more than 30%of people chose ayurvedic medicines for other diseases :Those diseases might be Skin diseases-psoriasis etc Hairfall,dandruff etc Allergy Anemia-Pandu GIT disorders Kidney stone….,,, Autoimmune Disorders etc People have less awarness about the medicinal care we provide in some diseases For example ayurvedic medicines and yoga therapy can provide great relief to patients having issues in sexual health(vageekarana) So there is a need to make people aware about the various dimensions in which ayurvedic medicines can be proven beneficial
6 th question Did you feel that ayurvedic medicine are side free? A 57 old male was suffering from high Bp.He had been taking an ayurvedic medicine called Tensarin for past 3 years.The drug contained Rauwolfia serpentina from which Reserpine is derived.Reserpine is not recommended for treating hypertension due to its adverse effects like decreased cardiac output,bradycardia,sedation etc.Then he switched to amlodipine 5mg once daily.He has been in regular follow up now and his Bp continues to be well followed.
10 th question Did you ever consumed ayurvedic medicine without prescription? Now a day most of the people use medicine with prescription compared to past years, but still it continues. For example: Gym instructors usually insist their customers to buy some adaptogenic drugs like shilajith, which causes serious threat when taken without prescription. Adaptogen are basically herbs, roots and other plant substances that help our bodies manage stress and restore balance after a stressful situation.eg:Ashwagandha.But shilajith is a mineral from rock.
11 th question W hy 27% claim reoccurring of disease? We know ayurvedic treatment offer root cause problem then why this reoccurring percentage of people visiting ayurvedic hospital for krchrasadhya(curable with effort) and yapya(manageable) disease. Most cases like sciatica, psoriasis are yapya disease. We are abled to manage than any other system of medicine, but when these patient do any apathya the disease may reoccur.

This contributes to the local economy and provides opportunities for herbal farmers. 4. **Health Tourism**: Nepal attracts tourists seeking Ayurvedic treatments and remedies. This has created a niche market for Ayurvedic wellness centers and retreats. 5. **Regulation**: The Nepalese government regulates the production and sale of Ayurvedic medicines to ensure quality and safety, which has boosted consumer confidence. 6. **Exports**: Some Ayurvedic products are also exported from Nepal to international markets, contributing to the country’s economy.

Conclusion Opinion Of majority patients 1. Many patients believe that ayurvedic medicine will cure their disease and are pretty satisfied with the treatment. 2. Most of the patients have less knowledge about the treatments available in a yurveda and its medicine 3. Cancer patients find ayurvedic medicines/treatments are economically more feasible than chemotherapy 4. Many people believe that there are no side-effects for ayurvedic medicines 5. They find that the medicines are of medium cost 6. They believe that ayurveda is able to cure the root cause of the disease
