We learnt about the famous scientists who worked with discharge tube. Who were they?

Today we are going to study about a famous scientist who conducted the discharge tube experiments and achieved a milestone in the journey to find out the subatomic particles

EUGEN GOLDSTEIN In 1886 Eugene Goldstein conducted discharge tube experiments. His studies led to the discovery of smallest lightest positive particles called protons . The smallest, lightest , positive particles in the discharge tube were obtained when the tube was filled with Hydrogen

Goldstein discovered the protons using discharge tube experiments. But it was Earnest Rutherford who discovered that those particles are subatomic particles and named it Protons.
