Information and communication subject related presentation slides The purpose of a literature review is multifaceted and plays a crucial role in academic research. Let’s explore its key functions:
Provide a Foundation for Current Research:
A literature review serves as a solid foundation for your current study. By evaluating existing research, it contextualizes your work within the broader landscape of your specific area of study1.
It helps you understand the historical context and the evolution of ideas related to your topic.
Define Key Concepts and Theories:
The review highlights central theories and concepts that have emerged from previous research on your chosen topic.
Readers gain a thorough understanding of the background and significance of your study1.
Demonstrate Critical Evaluation:
Conducting a comprehensive literature review showcases your ability to critically analyze and evaluate a broad range of source material.
Acknowledging the contributions of key scholars alongside your own work establishes your credibility and expertise1.
Show How Research and Methodologies Have Evolved:
Literature reviews provide a historical perspective, revealing how research and methodologies have changed over time.
Understanding past approaches allows you to apply that knowledge to your own research and build upon existing insights1.
In summary, a well-structured literature review not only informs but also prepares you for making your own argument or conducting original research in your field

SETS AND ITS TYPES Introduction: Sets are the collection of well defined groups and elements . It is represented with a capital letter Example : Set A= { 12345}
TYPES OF SETS Empty or Null Finite Infinite Universal Equal Subset
EXPLANATION: Empty Set or Null set : It has no element present in it. Example: A = {} is a null set. Finite Set : It has a limited number of elements. Example: A = {1,2,3,4} Infinite Set : It has an infinite number of elements. Example: A = {x: x is the set of all whole numbers}
TO BE CONTINUE ; Equal Set : Two sets which have the same members. Example: A = {1,2,5} and B={2,5,1}: set A = set B Subsets : A set ‘A’ is said to be a subset of B if each element of A is also an element of B. Example: A={1,2}, B={1,2,3,4}, then A ⊆ B Universal Set : A set which consists of all elements of other sets present in a venn diagram. Example: A={1,2}, B={2,3}, the universal set here will be, U = {1, 2,3}
VEN DIAGRAMS Ven diagram of set A will be;
CONCLUSION Sets are a fundamental concept in mathematics with wide-reaching applications across various disciplines. As you continue your mathematical journey, remember that sets are a crucial building block. They enable us to organize, analyze, and understand complex data and relationships in the world around us.
