9. The psychedelic com munity produces a new guru every decade or so, and the
cultural co ntributi ons of these gurus trends from pseudo - sci entific to outright
fantastical. It is often diffic ult to tell if the contributi ons of p sychedelic
celebrities outwei gh the more nonsensica l memes they propagate.
10. Psychedelic imprinting ca n take ma ny fo rms, and i n some ca ses negative
information can b e imprint ed into identity. Brainwashi ng is the act of
imprinting another person against their will, which is vi ewed as negative. Self -
brainwashing is the act of imprinting yourself with negative information either
by choice or error. In self - brai nwashing negative information typically assumes
explicit paranoid or messianic themes. Extreme cases of psychedelic self -
brainwashing will mimic elements of psychosis and per sistent delusi onal
