RD Apply Quick User Guide

 Go to https://rdapply.sc.egov.usda.gov

 On the login page, fill out the following User ID and Password fields:

 Once you are logged in, click on either the existing application (red arrow) or click on Add New
Application (yellow arrow):

 If you select Add New Application you will have to fill out a quick questionnaire that will decide
what kind of application you will be filling out. This can be changed at any time.

 You will need to fill out ALL the fields shown at the top of the application (shown below) before
it can be submitted for approval by USDA Rural Development staff:

 Most of the fields are self-explanatory, but there are several things to be aware of before filling
out certain pages.

 For example, on the Financial Tab, when you click on the sub-tabs labeled Short Lived Asset and
Debt there will be a question above where you input information. It appears as below:

 Make sure to answer Yes before filling out information. If you select this after inputting
information it will erase all the data you input.

 Another thing to remember is when clicking Save once done with a page you need to check the
top of the page to make sure the action was successful. If needed information is missing there
will be errors shown and the information will not save. Correct the errors and save again to
make sure the page is filled out correctly. If successful you will see the following:

 On the Documents Tab, you will see five required documents: Application, Engineering (PER),
Engineering (Documentation of Health and Sanitary Issue), Environmental and Financial. You can
upload more than one document to each tab. However, if you have a document you need to
upload that is not related to one of the aforementioned categories, use the Additional
Attachments button at the bottom of the page, as shown:

 Also, at the top of the Documents Tab, you will see a button labeled Certifications. These are
documents someone from the organization whom is applying need to E-Sign. Simply click on the
documents with the red X next to them, read and check the box next to the text that reads Sign
that everything above is correct to the best of my knowledge:

 If at any time you run into issues during your application, please contact Lincoln Stanley at
[email protected] or (614) 255-2422.
