Reactor??? A enclosed vessel just like pressure cooker in our home. In plant, half part is mounted on floor & remaining half is under the floor accessible from lower floor. Reaction Solution Preparation Mixing Distillation Crystallization Reactor In Industries:

Reactor Parts:

Reactor Top: Nozzle for RM1 charging Line Connection Nozzle for RM2 charging Line Connection Manhole View Glass Vapour Column Connection Nozzle for RM3 charging Line Connection Motor Connection to Agitator through shaft Nozzle for lamp Connection Nozzle for Vac./ Scrubber Connection

Reactor Top: RTD for TI

Reactor Bottom: Utility outlet Bottom Valve Utility inlet Spindle valve for GLR Ball valve for SSR

Reactor after installation: ANF Reactor Reactor bottom

Reactor after installation:

Reactor inside view through manhole: Agitator Shaft Agitator propeller type Baffles Baffles RM Addition dip Line

Reactor inside view through manhole in running condition:

Reactor Types: Batch Reactor CSTR PFR

Flexible Reactor for Various uses Reactor Made up of SS GLR RLR Or with material based on chemical compatibility Used In: Solution Preparation Reaction Chemical Mixing Distillation Crytallization Batch Reactor :

CSTR: CSTR Means Continuous Stirrer Tank Used to get perfect mixer of chemical but is lesser Efficient than batch Reactor Mainly used in waste water treatment . In this reactor, from one end feed continuous and from other end mixer get transferred.

PFR : PFR Means Plug Flow Reactor or Piston Flow Reactor or tabular reactors. Consist of cylindrical pipe with opening ends for reactant and product to flow through. From One end two or more chemical get inserted and mixer of that chemicals gets out from other end. Can operate at temp.800-1100 deg C. Used in Gasoline production, oil cracking, ammonia synthesis from its element, oxidation of SO2 to SO3.
