3. A. When Escalation is
Necessary
•Escalation is necessary on a contract when variables change
within the application of the work and is based on the nuances of
the thruput.
•These variables can not be written into the original contract
because of the design changes that are required with individual
applications of it.
•QB Pins are particularly susceptible to design change based on
the model being applied.
•The Rate of Escalation should be applied as a consistent
standard and the difference made up in the delivery.

Because we are using a standard pin to plait ratio the contract in its hyD and
Home Build Parts should exhibit a similar differential, yet they both can vary
widely. M & M Eng is managing all Plaits for both portals.

•Overview: The “Licensing for Car and Home” document
discusses the financial performance, licensing, and innovative
