Both photography and cinematography have become such a lifestyle to today's society-especially to those of millennial generation. With the advancement of better and more affordable technologies, a lot more people have come to not only relish this art, but also learn and deepen the techniques of photography and cinematography.

Liga Fotografi & Sinematografi (LFS) Faculty of Economics & Business, Universitas Indonesia has recognized the need of appreciation and education for this art. Therefore, this year, LFS comes up with three fundamental values: pride, craftsmanship, and, family. These values stand for the act of professionalism as an organization to create real arts and become a place for youngsters to develop their skills in this field; yet, still has a fun, relationship-oriented workforce.

Formed in 2015, LFS was previously known as two separate organization-LiFo (Liga Fotografi) and PerfEk (Perfilman Ekonomi). Both organization had stood side-by-side more than one decade in Faculty of Economics & Business, Universitas Indonesia.
