Dr. Kashif Naseer Qureshi Senior Assistant Professor 8 Assumptions and Limitations During the performance evaluation phase of this research, the subsequent assumptions are made in the simulation scenarios: Nodes are randomly deployed in square sized network dimension and remain static. All the nodes communicate via a shared bidirectional wireless channel. Nodes set their transmission power according to distance towards destination nodes. After initial deployment, no new nodes are added in the network field. v. Each sensor node identifies its location by employing a positioning algorithm, which is applied only once after deployment. BS is the most powerful node and does not have any resources limitation.
