Rosetta s Mission
Rosetta was a wonderful and useful spacecraft. Results from Rosetta s mission were very interesting
and helpful to the astronomers. The scientific instruments involved in Rosetta s mission were very
supportive in collecting data. There were lots of people longing for Rosetta s mission. Rosetta s
timeline starts off with Rosetta being launched. On March 2nd, 2004, the spacecraft Rosetta was
launched from Kourou, French Guiana along with spacecraft Philae, its lander module. On March 4th,
2005, Rosetta had a planned close swing by of Earth. In total, Rosetta had a total of three swing bys of

Selling In International Marketing Essay
Some small companies never thought about going global, or in other words, becoming international
retailers. They think of selling their products in foreign countries and think of ways to do so. Before
you know it, they have become global marketers. Many companies know that by doing business in
other countries, they can broaden their potential buyers. By selling to foreign customers, though,
retailers are stumbling upon roadblocks. Selling their product in international markets is not the same
as selling in the United States. Retailers, especially small businesses with limited resources, are
realizing large capital expenditures in order to accommodate sales in foreign markets. However, many
companies are doing quite well in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Depending on what type of business you are in, you can find similar companies in other countries and
form a partnership. This gives the seller more recognition in the foreign country. But, it is usually
more costly due to the added expense of another office. By forming a partnership with a company that
is in the country you want to do business in, the partner possibly has a list of contacts, already. This
makes selling the product or service a lot easier. Still though, companies wanting to expand in foreign
markets must be careful in choosing their partners. If they are not careful whom they choose as a
partner, they could risk losing control of their product or service. And, they need to pay close attention
to the day to day activities of selling. Some small businesses get too hasty because they want to
expand their market and gross profit, so they make bad judgment calls when it comes to finding a
company to form their joint venture with. The third method is by using a licensing agreement.
Basically, the foreign company/business buys the rights to the American product. They become the
licensees. This would seem the simplest method, since the licensee, it seems, would sell the product
then send you a check every month or so depending on the contract. However, you have to be careful
of this strategy as well. Some licensees buy the product and then shove it back on the shelves so it
won t compete with

Critique of Crabb Hawkins
A Critique of Two Theories
Betty Finney
Liberty University
COUN 507
Summary
Dr. Crabb s model integrates theology and psychology and refers to it as, Spoiling the Egyptians
(Crabb, 1977). His approach geared more to sound biblical principles and doctrine. I researched
Spoiling the Egyptians , as to, I was curious about the scripture base. Spoiling the Egyptians refers to
Exodus 12:40 42, as God watched over the Israelites as they went through the wilderness, and crossed
over in the promise land. When the Israelites were hungry, God fed the manna. He spoiled them by
giving them what they needed to be sustained. Up to a certain point, Dr. Crabb looked at psychology
and theology going hand in hand with ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The second phase consists of a process where the client and counselor share their belief system and try
to come up with a plan to recovery. The third phase actually decides on a plan of recovery. The fourth
phase consists of the client owning up to their responsibility and being held accountable for the plan of
recovery.
Strengths and Weaknesses
I agree with some of Dr. Crabb s approach to counseling, but I totally agree with Dr. Hawkins model
approach. In my opinion, portions of Dr. Crabb s approach makes Biblical counseling at the basis of
counseling. His thought process that psychology and theology goes hand in hand, gives the Holy Spirit
to work in finding a recovery plan. My pastor always says, The worse place to be is to be disconnected
for the Power Source (God). One of the strengths of Biblical counseling, such Dr. Crabb s and Dr.
Hawkins approach models is, that biblical counseling is most in line with a one on one teaching of the
Christian faith. When I first became a Christian, I learned four valuable things. One, remember that
God is always there. Deuteronomy 31:6 says, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified
because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you: He will never leave you nor forsake you. Two,
do a daily devotion because keep you in God s word and strengthen your prayer life. Three, Get
involved and stay connected with other believers. Four, talk to someone. Talking to someone will get
the issues out in

Essay about Keeping the Family Together in A Raisin In...
Keeping the Family Together in A Raisin In The Sun
What a loving mother! Lena Younger, or Mama, is nurturing and supportive when it comes to raising
and maintaining a family. Personally speaking, being nurturing means to love, care for, and show
concern over someone. Analyzing Mama s relationships with family members can show us her view
on parenting and ultimately show us her devotion to her family. In A Raisin in the Sun, by Lorraine
Hansberry, Mama is a nurturing mother who cares for and protects her family in her struggle to keep
them unified.
Not only does Lena Younger protect Travis from getting yelled at by his mother, but also she protects
his feelings. At this point in the play Mama s nurturing attitude is seen ... Show more content on

Mama looks at Travis and says that she ...went out and ... bought you a house! ... It s going to be yours
when you get to be a man (1417). This gift to Travis serves two purposes. Not only does it provide
him with a stepping stone for starting his own family but also it is a tie that will bind the Youngers
closer together. Mama knows that money and living space is a difficulty for her family. Mama s gift to
her grandson shows how she is trying to help her family move on and move up in life.
Mama s relationship with Beneatha expresses a sense of nurturing shown in life lessons. A very subtle
display of gentleness towards her daughter is in reference to relationships. When Mama inquires about
a young African American man her daughter has an interest in, Beneatha tells her mother that he is a
fool. Mama s response is merely Well I guess you better not waste your time with no fools (1420).
Mama s lack of questioning or second guessing her daughter and her understanding and respecting her
view are well received by Beneatha. This sense of nurturing brings them closer together and leaves
both mother and daughter happy.
Family values are the context of Mama s second nurturing lesson to Beneatha. After a conflictive
encounter with her brother, Beneatha expresses a lack of respect and love for Walter. Lena Younger
first quickly ensures that she correctly heard her daughter. Although Mama does not come across as
gentle as she has in the past, her

Stock Picks and Analysis
Choosing two profitable stocks amongst a myriad of potential alternatives is a daunting task to say the
least. In order to narrow my choices from thousands to two, I examined several aspects of companies I
was interested in. Among these were, company overview, alpha and beta ratings, price ratios, price
charts, and company headlines. After evaluating this information, I chose Intuit INC (INTU) listed on
the NASDAQ and Johnson and Johnson (JNJ) listed on the NYSE.

The Candlestick chart has formed a Bullish pattern which suggests that buyers are entering into the

observe that Intuit has had steady gains despite a period of loss between mid July and mid August. We
can also see that it has a Support at 43.44 and Resistance at 47.42. If it breaks this resistance the stock
should continue higher to 50.13. The close proximity of resistance at 47.42 will be focused on as a
possible refraction from this level may occur.
On October 1, 2002 the chairman of the executive committee sold 200,000 shares of stock in the

Essay on Belonging, Romulus My Father
An individual s interaction with others and the world around them can enrich or limit their experience
of belonging. This statement can be readily depicted through various texts which include Raimond
Gaita s memoir, Romulus My Father and Universal Studio s 2004 film, Hating Alison Ashley. Both of
these texts involve various techniques that assist in portraying the concept of belonging to both an
environment and to relationships. Belonging is a concept that is more complex than it first appears. It
may be experienced on many levels between belonging and not belonging, be it to a family, a
friendship, a place or a surrounding environment. It is a perception that is shaped within personal,
cultural, historical and social contexts. Belonging ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This influences him to interact more with his surrounds which further enriches his belonging to the
Australian landscape.
The film Hating Alison Ashley from Universal Studios, also reveals how an individual s interaction
with others and the world around them can enrich or limit their experience of belonging to an
environment. The two protagonists both find themselves at odds with the environment throughout
different stages in the film. Erika Yuken is competent in her own way but out of place within her
community and school environment. However, it appears to be a matter of perception, Erika believes
that she is better than or different from what she actually is. This attribute makes her think that she is
above everyone and ultimately creates barriers between her interacting with her peers and in turn
belonging to her school environment. Erika and Alison both feel insecure and awkward in their school
environment, but for varying reasons. Erika assumes she doesn t belong and that she should be
someone else. Life can be lonely when you re exceptional. This reflective statement reveals that she
thinks herself to be better than others and also highlights the isolation she feels because of this
perception. At the beginning of the film a montage of photos of beautiful people, houses and wealth
are shown in conjunction with a voice over, spoken by Erika. There were very few perfect places to
grow up in, where

Federal Income Tax, State Tax And Property Tax
The concept behind federal income tax, state tax, and property tax is........
The ratification of the sixteenth amendment to the constitution established the federal income tax. The
federal income tax is a tax the United States government collects on the wages and income an
individual may earn in a year. Each year federal income taxes are collected from millions of
Americans based on a progressive taxing formula. The progressive structure of the formula is
designed to ensure that each individual no matter their income, pays what is considered a fair taxation
rate. If an individual earns more, more taxes are levied against the earned wages and income.
States tax their citizens in a similar fashion as the federal government. However, the income tax rates
or percentages at the state level are much lower. States also employ a tax that the federal government
does not have. This tax is called a sales tax. The tax on goods and services such as clothing,
automobiles and dining in at a restaurant is regressive. No matter what the income of an individual,
the tax remains the same, unlike a progressive system. There are many states that do not have an
income tax. These states get a large proportion of their revenue from sales taxes. States such as
California, New York, and Massachusetts, have some of the highest state income tax and sales taxes in
the United States. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

`` The Cradle Of Freedom `` By Nathaniel Philbrick
Samuel Adams once said, It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority,
keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men. In Bunker Hill, Nathaniel Philbrick
chronicles how the conflagration of the American Revolution would erupt from the embers of the past
focusing on the great impact that those involved in the infamous battle for which the book is titled and
the battle itself would have on the colonies and their fight for liberties. This is a vivid bildungsroman
for the city of Boston, teeming with new thoughts and ideals, that would face internal conflict, which
would later give the city the title the Cradle of Freedom. 1 Setting aside the legends of the revolution,
Philbrick presents not only a historic event in American history, but also the subtle, essential moments
that are not limited to 1775 but are the underpinning mechanics of overthrowing a regime that are
essentially the same today as they were in the eighteenth century; however, focusing on our mythic
Founding Fathers, many overlook the true nature of the war that is present in every revolution.2
Unlike the hackneyed stories told to us as children on the Fourth of July, the American colonies were
not victims to an overly oppressive, malevolent motherland thousands of miles away. In fact studies
have shown that the American colonies were the least taxed people in the Western world and that,
overall, the claims of English oppression boil down to nothing more

Ben Franklin Essay
Ben Franklin
Benjamin Franklin was one of the most influential people in American history. Franklin was born on
January 17, 1706, in a small town in Boston. Benjamin was one of ten children. His father, Josiah was
a candle and soap maker, and his mother Abiah Folger was a homemaker. When Benjamin was only
twelve years old he signed his identures so that he could apprentice under his brother, working at a
printing press. Here he worked for his brother James for over nine years. Benjamin had enormous
talent, and after his apprenticeship was up, he got a job printing for the Boston Gazette. However this

Upon his request a tax was established to provide better watchmen. He also helped organize volunteer
firefighters. Ben also proposed a lottery to help bring money into the city, and he chartered a
university that is name after him today, called the University of Pennsylvania.
Franklin s print shop had made him a wealthy man, and in 1748 the success of the print shop had
allowed Franklin to retire early. Franklin could now use his time to focus on his two other favorite
things: science and politics.
Soon after his retirement Franklin became extremely interested in experimenting with electricity.
Franklin was one of the first people to suggest that lightning was merely naturally occurring
electricity, and that it could be drawn from the clouds. In 1752, Ben Franklin performed his kite
experiment. Here Franklin had his proof of lightning s electrical nature. Franklin wrote specifics on
how the experiment was to be done, it said.
This kite is to be raised when a thunder gust appears to be coming on, and the person who holds the
string must stand within a door or window, or under some cover, so that the silk ribbon may not be
wet; and care must be taken that the twine does not touch the frame of the door or window. As soon as
any of the thunder clouds come over the kite, the pointed wire will draw electric fire from them, and
the kite, with all the twine, will be electrified, and the loose filaments of the twine will

A Good Man Is Hard To Find And Good Essay
Good is defined, by The Oxford Dictionary, as that which is morally right . Throughout history, the
definition of good has been analyzed, in order for the true meaning, of this abstract word to be
revealed. Through the interactions between the Misfit and the Grandmother, Flannery O Connor
exposes the dark side of human nature, showing the dangerous classification, of individuals as
innately good or innately bad . The exigence of A Good Man is Hard to Find is to reveal the rigidity of
society s concepts of good and bad .
During the family trip to Georgia, the grandmother attempts to emanate a sophisticated facade. The
grandmother s wears a navy blue sailor hat , along with white cotton gloves (2). As for the Misfit, an
escaped convict, the grandmother demeans him as a horrible man and declares that she wouldn t take
her children in any direction with a criminal like that (1). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Human nature is more complex than black and white. When it comes to individuals, good and evil are
fluid. People are a combination of both good and bad qualities. People can be rehabilitated from cruel
behavior. People can eventually recover, displaying positive characteristics, such as empathy and
kindness. Rather than being innate, cruel behaviors are mainly due to environmental factors, such as
an abusive childhood, or social learning , from a family or peers. Many people would characterize Al
Capone, a prolific crime boss of the 1930 s, as a bad man. However, his crime filled lifestyle did not
stop him, from remembering his own childhood poverty. During the Great Depression, he opened one
of the world s first soup kitchens. An army of ragged, starving men assembled three times a day,
surviving off of the generosity of Al Capone. Toasting his health. Telling the newspapers that he was

Child Soldiering in the World
In the last decade child soldiering has extended over a large portion of the world. Restrained access to
schooling, food and lack of income causes emotional problems. Not only do children have to witness
their parents and families being killed but they are also raped, beaten and go through things
adolescents should not go through. Being a child a soldier has a negative impact on the child.
Separated from their families, facing psychological problems and being brain washed are all issues
child soldiers have to face before they even reach puberty. A Child Soldier is under the age of eighteen
and can be male or female. Similar to gangs some children leave school because they were lured and
promised of a better life. While some children willingly join because they have no other option others
don t voluntarily join; they are abducted by subjection from parents and are used as human shields.
Parents are killed by their own children and are nearly threatened and ordered by rebels. Children have
to kill their families, or the rebels will harm the children. Parents tell their children to follow the rebel
s instructions to ensure that their children will live because they know pressure brought upon their
children so they tell them to do as the rebels say even if it means killing them. The love of the parents
is so strong because they risk their own lives by trying to persuade or bribe rebels not to take their
children. Parents are outnumbered by rebels and can t help their children if

The United Kingdom Banking Industry
The United Kingdom banking industry, in the seventies and eighties, was a competitive and fairly
unregulated market. These two factors in most industries implies that there is room for companies to
grow. However, the market of personal banking was saturated all customers that needed personal
banking already belonged to a bank. The Big Four clearing British banks Lloys, Midland, Barkleys,
and National Westminster dominated the retail banking industry. In this industry, where the players
joke that, people are more likely to switch partners than banks, entry into this market would be very
difficult. Only 1 in 30 people switched banks every year. It would take a superb value proposition and
business model to acquire customers from other banks. Prior to the seventies, the UK banking industry
was not very competative. The Big Four flooded the market until the point of saturation. Then, in the
late seventies, the Bank of England allowed banks to offer a more full range of services, including:
share dealing and financial advisement. Furthermore, The Banking Act of 1979 allowed building
societies to offer personal banking services, including check deposit accounts and unsecured loans.
This act dismantled the interest rate cartel in the UK, removing at least one barrier to entry from the
banking and mortgage industry. Now, the Big Four was pitted against the building societies. Coupled
with these legislative changes was a decrease in regulation of the banking industry. All

Inka Empire Dbq
Genghis Khan, a man who conquered and ruled the largest continuous empire in history of mankind,
was once told Conquering the world on horseback is easy; it is dismounting and governing that is
hard. Many kings and warriors were able to conquer vast lands in history but only a few were able to
hold that power for a long period of times. The ones who implemented successful strategies in order to
expand, consolidate and administer their rule over land were the most successful in holding power.
Aztec empire is a perfect example of this. The arrival of Nahuatl speaking populations in central
Mexico during the twelfth century CE, known as the Aztlan migrations, marked the beginning of

Inkas established state religion and secular institutions, such as priesthood of the sun, priestesses of
the moon, and the military leadership . (D Altroy, 209). The Kings and military leaders were often
appointed these titles, making them god like deities in the eyes of public. This strategy made general
public trust and fear the empire and reduce rebellions as it was seen as a rebellion against the chosen
ones and thus the gods. Furthermore, Inkas established a system of tributes in form of taxes where
provinces provided resources to the capital.Tributes were often collected in the form of household
tributes in a hierarchical process where household heads were responsible to village headmen who
reported to lords and so on until it reached the capital. (Morris, 64). In order to establish a smooth
tribute system, the Inkas built a royal highway system. This made transportation of goods and army
throughout the empire easier than it had ever been before thus strengthening their control and making

The Love Of Another Is Not An Original Subject For Poetry
Yearning for the love of another is not an original subject for poetry. However, this age old theme is
expressed through the style of Petrarchan love in the poems Love, that doth reign and live within my
thought and Astrophil and Stella 1. Love, that doth reign and live within my thought, was written by
Henry Howard, Earl of Surrey in the mid sixteenth century (Greenblatt and Logan 386). Sidney wrote
his series of sonnets entitled Astrophil and Stella in 1580, describing his relationship with Penelope
Devereux (Greenblatt and Logan 491). Henry Howard in his writing of Love, that doth reign and live
within my thought and Sir Philip Sidney in his writing of Astrophil and Stella 1 collectively express
Petrarchan concepts in their poems. Petrarch was a fourteenth century poet whose writings were
heavily influenced by the tradition of courtly love, however; Petrarch altered the ideal of courtly love
by removing the fulfilled meeting of the two lovers leaving the man with an infinitely unfulfilled love.
Henry Howard s and Sir Philip Sidney s situations are similar in that they are both dealing with a
vexing situation that is constructed around their feelings and expressions of love for a woman. Both
poets express these notions in their writings through their similar uses of meter, situation, and
Petrarchan structure.
Love, that doth reign and live within my thought is Henry Howard s version of Petrarch s Rima 140.

Internet Crimes And The Internet
Introduction
The purpose of this research is to discuss about cybercrimes also known as internet crimes. The
researcher has taken help from a number of online sources and a few books as well. Firstly, the
researcher will discuss about cybercrime, how and when it came in existence. The researcher then will
categorize cybercrimes into 2 parts, cyber abuse and cyber attacks. This in turn has a few subtopics to
follow. And lastly, the researcher will discuss prevention from these kind of attacks.
Technology has been increasing so rapidly in the past fifteen years that it has increased the use of
computers in our daily lives and in the business sector. To keep pace with the rapid increase in
technology, industries such as banking, health, education etc. are very dependent on Internet for all its
activities.
However, what is Internet? Internet is the largest wide area network (WAN) that connects millions of
computers worldwide and it is easily accessible at any corner of the world.
Since the evolution of the Internet almost 20 years back, it has gradually changed and in turn changed
our lives as well and has left a great impact on our lives.
In the earlier times, Internet was only used to search for information but now it not only contains a

Planned Parenthood By Margaret Sanger
The first birth control clinic in the United States opened on October 16, 1916 by Margaret Sanger. Her
nonprofit organization is now known as Planned Parenthood. Sanger was not only an advocate for
women s reproductive rights, but also a vocal eugenic enthusiast. Her motives behind starting the
organization were to educate women about the reproductive process allowing them to choose when
and whether to bear children. Although Sanger supported the eugenics movement and sterilization, we
cannot forget about all of the men and women her organization helped and continues to help to this
day.
Growing up Sanger s father was an unstable man who was incapable of providing adequately for his
large family. Although a skilled craftsman, he was unable to properly care for his family because he
preferred drinking over earning a steady wage, while his 11 children suffered bitterly from privation.
Once Sanger grew older she fled her unhappy home in search for a better life. She attended college
and found it was not for her and later met her husband who she had 3 children with. Sanger detested
domestic life and neglected her children to the point that neighbors had to step in and care for them (
Margaret Sanger ). It is safe to say Sanger did not have it easy growing up. Living such a rough
childhood can be partial to blame for her eugenic views.
Sanger s upbringing may be the underlying cause for her support in the eugenic movement. She may
have felt her inability to care for her own

Honor in the Iliad and Antigone Essay
The notion of honor is prevalent throughout the Iliad and Antigone. Both texts demonstrate that honor
is essential to Greek heroes because honor is the foundation of the society and family. Homer and
Sophocles clearly show that honor guides people s actions and responses and decides the fate of
themselves and others. Both authors also place emphasis on the importance of proper burial because it
is a strong indication of honor to the deceased and the deceased s family. As can be seen in the Iliad
and Antigone, the aim of every Greek hero is to gain everlasting honor because it ensures his place in
the social memory of his society resounding even after death. Throughout the Iliad, Homer portraits
the extent to which honor plays a role in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
His cowardly act will definitely tarnish his name and left humiliation to his offspring and to the next
generation of Greeks. Thus, honor would not allow him and his allies to take a step back and
peacefully solve the conflicts because the highest honor can only be gained through heroism in battles.
For Greeks, gaining honor while alive that is important, but holding of a proper burial after death is
also considered essential to them and their beloveds. In the Iliad, Homer places the emphasis on the
retrieval of the body and the burial for both Patroclus and Hector, demonstrating the Greek perception
that respect and fame continue after death, and therefore certify the struggle in life to achieve honor.
Patroclus is like a brother to Achilles as they grow up together. While Patroclus is alive, he respects
Achilles decision to remain out of the battle. After he dies, Achilles lays down his individual pride,
which has insulted by Agamemnon earlier and returns back to the battle. Achilles successfully kills
Hector and exacts his revenge by mutilating the body. Patroclus honor is shown in his elaborate
ceremonies that Achilles holds for his passing and extends to the mourning shown. (Homer, Iliad
19.325 360, 23.245 280) On the other side, Priam has gone through many difficulties to have his son s
corpse back from Achilles. Hector s honor also can be seemed from the paramount funeral and the

School Experience In High School
As a small child in elementary school, I can remember the anticipation of unstructured recess that
followed our daily lunch routine. Ordinarily, the bell for lunch would ring. The teacher would line
everyone up and that is when the excitement would erupt. Immediately the chatter of little voices
commenced among the students as they collaborated with their peers about what they desired to
conquer first. At that very moment imaginations exploded! Were to begin? Would be the question on
everyone s mind. Where would the perfect place to meet up with your friends be? Would it be the
luxurious field full of dandelions? Or the merry go rounds, slides, swings, monkey bars, jump ropes,
the possibilities were endless. The instant lunchtime was over the teachers would open the portal to a
wondrous world of whimsical delight: The Playground! Instantly the deafening sound of screeching
chairs sliding across the cafeteria floor would erupt. Followed simultaneously with the rumble of wild,
uncontrollable energy bursting through the cafeteria doors. Students scattered uncontrollably; running
competitively to their previously discussed desired positions. FREEDOM a time to run wild with no
cares, no worries, a time to jump, and holler. A time to enjoy being a kid. A time to appreciate being
with friends. A measure of time with limited restrictions unstructured recess. Years ago we did not
comprehend that this type of interaction actually aids the human body with development of social,

The first is to show adoration for a character, or they pick one that they have matching personalities
with, hoping to become that character or at least close to it. A few major characteristics of this type of
cosplayer may be an enthusiastic attitude and the tendency to pay less attention to detail and quality.
Such cosplayers are also known to criticize other cosplayers for not having a full knowledge of their
character, or not also adopting character personality. This can cause a lot of conflict between
cosplayers. (Cosplay, 2012) The second is those people who enjoy the attention that cosplaying a
certain character brings. They have to dress as the most popular character so they can have the most
attention. Within the cultures of anime and manga specifically, there is a certain level of dishonor that
is attached to cosplayers with this type of attitude. Such cosplayers are usually characterized by
paying close attention to detail in their garments and their choice of popular characters. They are also
noted by participation in cosplay competitions. (Cosplay, 2012) The third category is those who enjoy
the creative process, and the sense of personal achievement upon completion of the costume and

Lust of Power Depicted in William Shakespeare´s Macbeth Essay
Murder, ghosts, and floating daggers are the usual attractions for most that read William Shakespeare s
Macbeth, and yet there is an important theme that some might overlook. Written in the early 17th
century, Macbeth is believed to be based upon historical events listed in Raphael Holinshed s
Chronicles of Scotland and other current events of the time. Shakespeare constructs the memorable
world of Macbeth with a mysterious and sinister atmosphere, incorporating diabolical elements into
this world with the appearance of Hecate, witches, prophecies and ghostly apparitions. Throughout his
story, Macbeth becomes controlled by desire for power, by allowing himself to be influenced, using
evil means to gain and maintain power to the point that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
According to Lady Macbeth s conspiracy, Macbeth murders the king and despite his guilt Macbeth
concedes to his wife s chiding and assurance, My hands are of your color, but I shame
To wear a heart so white. I hear a knocking
At the south entry. Retire we to our chamber.
A little water clears us of this deed.
How easy is it, then! Your constancy
Hath left you unattended. (2.2)
However this initial step of using violent means to gain power makes it all the easier to use the same
violent means to maintain power.
From gaining to maintaining their power, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth continually seek out darkness to
aid them in their evil endeavors. Once king, Macbeth allows himself to be utterly enveloped by this
darkness and once consumed, he is prepared to eliminate any who would intercept his newly obtained
power and thus, to squash any hope of redemption. Malcolm describes this by saying, But Macbeth is.
[treacherous]
A good and virtuous nature may recoil
In an imperial charge. But I shall crave your pardon.
That which you are, my thoughts cannot transpose.
Angels are bright still, though the brightest fell.
Though all things foul would wear the brows of grace,
Yet grace must still look so. (4.3)
However, this invited evil claims its toll on the royal couple and in the end it is clear to see that the
two have been totally contorted through their efforts to maintain their stolen power. Lady Macbeth
becomes paranoid and her burdened conscience

Corruption And Abuse Of Power In Andrew Jackson s A Tale...
I weep for the liberty of my country when I see at this early day of its successful experiment that
corruption has been imputed to many members of the House of Representatives, and the rights of the
people have been bartered for promises of office (Andrew Jackson). Corruption and abuse of power by
aristocrats is the driving force of the plot in A Tale of Two Cities. In fact, it was the chief cause of the
French revolution. The book chronicles the enterprises of several revolutionaries, such as Madame
Defarge and The Vengeance, as they attempted to overthrow the aristocrats and their crooked ways.
Both the French aristocrats and Madame Defarge became corrupt on account of power, resulting in
calamitous consequences; without the proper ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If I knew which rascal threw at the carriage, [...] he should be crushed under the wheels. (Dickens 85)
The actions and words of the Marquis vividly portray his character: a self centered, iniquitous, snob
who has zero interest in the welfare of others. Another specimen chronicled by the tale of the
aristocrat s utter indifference to the common people s plight is the lifestyle of the Monseigneur. While
the masses were starving from lack of food and poverty, the Monseigneur lived as though he were a
king. Yes. It took four men, all four ablaze with gorgeous decoration, and the Chief of them unable to
exist with fewer than two gold watches in his pocket, emulative of the noble and chaste fashion set by
Monseigneur, to conduct the happy chocolate to Monseigneur s lips. (Dickens 79) Therefore, we see
that the Monseigneur, too, had much the same attitude as the Marquis, and, as can be reasonably
inferred, he same attitude as the vast majority of the other aristocrats. Consequently, we can conclude
that nearly all of the aristocrats were corrupt in their ways.
In response to their cruel treatment by the aristocrats, the common people rebelled and began the
revolution, with the intent of deposing all of the corrupt aristocrats and their ways. However, the
revolution many of the common people corrupt themselves. For instance, while Madame Defarge
started out with the intention of doing away with the aristocrats and their corrupt ways, she became a
bloodthirsty serial killer

Abortion Should Be Allowed
I have always been a pro life and a pro choice. I have grown to believe that women have their right to
self ownership. I have been against abortion since from childhood all I have known is that abortion is
a crime and a sin. My Sunday school teacher used to emphasize on this abortion is a sin no one has a
right to kill. This is also taught in the catholic teachings do not kill. However after reading the chapter
on abortion and compared it to the Catholic Church, I have come to be a bit lenient and flexible too in
my reasoning.
I mean, to some extent abortion should be allowed. In cases where the state agrees in order to protect
the life of the fetus or better still that of an expectant woman. I feel it is very much okay when
abortion is

The Federation Of The Somali Republic
The federation of the Somali Republic and the Role of the International Community
1.0 Introduction
From 1960, when Somalia got its independence, Somalia Republic was a constitutional democratic
state with a constitution approved by a referendum. From 1960 to 1969, the constitution got rid of a
civilian, legislative governance structure and protected human rights under the rule of two consecutive
and democratically voted governments. In 1969, bloodless military takeover took place and suspended
the constitution. As a result of the oppressive rule of Siyad , there was massive dissatisfaction and
revolt locally and also minimum participation of the global community in resolving the disaster that
was building up in the country. The military ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The successful MPs subsequently elected the Speaker, Mohamed Osman Jawari and President Hassan
Sheikh Mohamud. The country has adopted a federal system of governance which is still at an early
stage, and laden with confusion and constitutional ambiguities. Only one federal member state
(Puntland) is in existence, and there are several emerging states although the processes and
commissions through which federal states should be formed are yet to be fully formed. The
international community and foreign diplomats assigned to Somalia play an integral role in facilitating
dialogue among the key political actors, and their interventions have huge impacts in the future of the
country. In order to have a functional federal Somalia, several issues should be tackled and addressed:
Clarifying and amending the ambiguous and inconsistent constitutional clauses in the constitution,
determining and agreement on the federal state boundaries, and putting in place resources and power
sharing mechanisms. Therefore, given these challenges and potential opportunities, the role of the
international community, especially the regional bodies (IGAD, AU and others) should be based on a
coherent policy which is in tandem with the aspirations of the

How Does Tim O Brien Use Syntax In The Things They Carried
By using syntax, repetition, and evidence, Tim O Brien builds an argument to convey the reality that
the soldiers in the Vietnam War had something to carry, both physically and emotionally.
In The Things They Carried , O Brien uses syntax to arrange his sentences in order to show the harsh
correlation between the weight of real and mental possessions. For example, O Brien first introduces
the 30 pound PRC scrambler radio, then immediately follows with the weight of memory. Appealing
to emotion by displaying that, like the heavy radio, the weight of memory also was a burden, but
something that they were forced to carry.
With the use of repetition, O Brien accomplishes to show the connection between the Vietnam soldiers

EQ: How have Mexican cartels changed life for the everyday person in Mexico and what can the
government do to stop their influence for future generations?
The Mexican drug war has been going on for many decades now affecting many generations. Drug
trafficking has gain more power by its sinister leaders that maintain power at all cost. This affects how
mexico is perceived in the United States and rest of the world. The drug cartels have been taking
advantage of Mexicans poor education rates to persuade young Mexican males to joying their cartel in

controlling Mexico. The Mexican drug war has been going on for about two decades creating such a
