In these days, vehicles are widely used in transportation services. Most of transportation vehicles are made with diesel engines and petrol engines. But there are a lot of disadvantages in these engines. Both of diesel engines and petrol engines can emit a lot of carbon dioxide (CO2). Diesel engines can emit nitrogen oxides. Emitting a lot of CO2 gases can contribute air pollution and case respiratory problems in urban areas. Both of engines can produce vibration due to the compression and combustion process. Higher fuel prices also are a disadvantages of diesel engines and petrol engines. Another point is diesel and petrol are not renewable energies. According to these disadvantages, we must need to replace them with electric vehicles.
In the early 21st centuries, most of government have been started to replace with electric vehicles (EVs) instead of vehicles which used diesel engines and petrol engines. The first electric vehicles were invented in the late 19th century but there were limited in batteries technology to widely use in urban areas. In 2000s, lithium-ions batteries started to replace older batteries. In 2010s, electric cars were widely used in Asia and Europe for delivery services. Now a day, electric vehicles are using in everywhere for various pervious but we can’t see that electric cargo trikes aren’t yet widely used in industries and construction sites.
In this project, I am going to build electric cargo trike for agricultural and multipurpose by using all of my former knowledge Fluid mechanics, Mechanical principle, Virtual Engineering
