الواقعة Al- Wāqiʻah (The Event) Classification : Meccan Other names : The Event, The Inevitable Discussesion Topic : Afterlife according to Islam, and the different fortune people will face in it . Rukus : 3 Verses : 96 S urah   Number : 56

Revelation History According to Quranic commentators, the chapter is a Meccan sura , that is, it was revealed during the Meccan period of Muhammad's prophethood . Some commentators, although not in the majority, argue that part of it was revealed during the Medinan period. Some of such commentators maintain that verses 39–40 are the verses that was from the Medinan period, while some say 81–82, and others say 83

It says that when Had rat Umar entered his sister's house, Surah Ta Ha was being recited. Hearing his voice the people of the house hide the pages of the Qur'an. Hadrat Umar first seized his brother-in-law and then his sister rose in defense of her husband, he hit her also and wounded her on the head. When Umar saw blood on his sister, he was sorry for what he had done, and said to her: "Show me the manuscript that you have concealed so that I may see what it contains." The sister said: "You are unclean because of your polytheism: "Only a clean person can touch it." So, Hadrat Umar rose and washed himself, and then took up the manuscript to read it. This shows that Sarah Al- Waqi'ah had been sent down by that time for it contains the verse: La yamassu hu ill al mutahharun ; and it had been established historically that Hadrat Umar embraced Islam after the first migration to Habash , in the fifth year of the Prophethood . Period of Revelation

T he Event بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِذَا وَقَعَتِ الْوَاقِعَةُ When the Event will come to pass . That which causes something or somebody to rise and to fall. The earth will suddenly shake with a terrible shaking it will not be a local earthquake that may occur in a restricted area, but it will shake the whole earth to its depths all of a sudden. The mountains will crumble and it will scatter abroad into fine dust.

Afterlife The afterlife is referred to as life after death or the hereafter . Some belief systems, such as Abrahamic tradition that the dead go to a specific plane of existence after death, as determined by God, or other divine judgment, based on their actions or beliefs during life . Abrahamic religions Judaism Christianity Islam In other popular views, the individual may be reborn into this world and begin the life cycle over again, likely with no memory of what they have done in the past. In this latter view, such rebirths and deaths may take place over and over again continuously until the individual gains entry to a spiritual realm or Otherworld . This view follow by Hinduism

The Day of Recompense Allah tells us what the disbeliever will say on the Day of Resurrection, how they will blame themselves and admit that they wronged themselves in this world. When they see the horrors of the Day of Resurrection with their own eyes, they will be filled with regret at the time when regret will not avail them anything.

T he three classes of people In Surah Al- Waqi'a Allah Divided people in three types Allah Said : وَكُنتُمْ أَزْوَاجًا ثَلَاثَةً “And ye shall be sorted out into three classes” T hey are: T he foremost ( السَّـبِقُونَ ) T he companions of the right ( أَصْحَـبُ الْمَيْمَنَةِ ) T he companions of the left ( أَصْحَـبُ الْمَشْـَمَةِ )

The foremost People This category is comprised of those who are the foremost and nearest before Allah. They are in a better grade and status and nearer to Allah than those on the right side. They are the chiefs of those on the right side, because they include the Messengers, Prophets, true believers and martyrs. They are fewer than those on the right side; so Allah said, وَالسَّـبِقُونَ السَّـبِقُونَ

The foremost People Rewards (14-26) This category people a few of those will be from the later time generations. They get rewards form Allah Such As: They Sit on thrones woven with gold and precious stones Reclining thereon, face to face . They will be served by immortal boys, With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine. And fruit; that they may choose And the flesh of fowls that they desire No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc .).  But only the saying of: Salam!, Salam!

The companions of the right Rewards (27-40) T hey will comprise the majority of the residents of Paradise. Another category is those who will be placed to the left of Allah's Throne, and they are those who were brought forth from `Adam's left side. They get among thorn less lote -trees ,banana-trees And fruit in plenty. water flowing constantly Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off.

The companions of the left وَأَصْحَـبُ الْمَشْـَمَةِ مَآ أَصْحَـبُ الْمَشْـَمَةِ This category will be given their Books of Records in their left hands and will be taken to the left side. They are the residents of the Fire, may Allah save us from their actions.

The companions of the left Rewards (41-56) This category will be given their Books of Records in their left hands and will be taken to the left side. They are the residents of the Fire, may Allah save us from their actions. They stay hot wind and boiling water And shadow of black smoke that is neither cool, nor good. They will eat of the trees of Zaqqum and they will fill your bellies therewith. Than they drink boiling water as like like thirsty camels ! That will be their entertainment on the Day of Recompense!

Creation of Human Many times in the Quran, Allah draws our attention to the way we were created . Allah mentions how man was created from nothing but a microscopic sperm, which is not even visible, and yet he grows into a creature who argues about the very being that created Him from this miniscule little drop of fluid – he disputes about Allah, His attributes, or any other aspect of Islam, to avoid submitting to Him – the Creator who not just created him, but also gave him provision since day one to make him grow, acquire a physical form, then be blessed with sight, hearing, and intellect

The Qur’anic verses that mention plants, trees and fruits are there to encourage people to think about Allah’s creation and to help them reach a level of faith based on conviction. These verses also remind people of Allah’s blessings and the need to thank Him for what He has offered them. Allah says, “Then let mankind look at his food. How We poured down water in torrents, Then We broke open the earth, splitting And caused to grow within it grain And grapes and herbage, And olive and palm trees, And gardens of dense shrubbery, And fruit and grass enjoyment for you and your grazing livestock Plants' creations

We sent down water from the sky, blessed water whereby We caused to grow gardens, grains for harvest, tall palm-trees with their spathes , piled one above the other – sustenance for (Our) servants. Therewith We gave (new) life to a dead land. So will be the emergence The water cycle in the Quran

F ire  It is the creation of fire which is the most significant means of human life and the most effective means in all industries. أَفَرَأَيْتُمُ النَّارَ الَّتِي تُورُونَ

The Blessings of Surah Al- Waqiah Prophet MohammadSAW said:”Whoever recites Surrah al Waqiah at night would never encounter poverty.”' Prophet MohammadSAW said: “Surah al Waqiah is the Surrah of Wealth, so recite it and teach it to your children.”

Conclusion We are investigating various options to increase our income that will help us to lead a financially stable life. Many of us are looking to come out of debt. We have our tuition fees and bank loans to payoff. We do lot of hard work to achieve this dream to live a life of financial stability.  But we miss out something. Surah Waqiah .
