2. Explanation of Ring Topology Ring Topology: In a ring topology, each device has a dedicated point to point line configuration. All devices are connected point to point in the shape of ring. A signal is passed along the ring in one device to device until it reaches its destination. Each device in the ring can act as a repeater because each device in ring receives the signal and regenerates the bits and then send to the another device. 2
